Forgive me but how could you say something so ignorant about someone else’s art? As for how I got acquainted with Maggie Rogers, when I worked as a hotel receptionist, she stood in the hotel where I worked. She performed this song at a modest venue in my city. After that performance, she appeared warm and engaged the audience in conversation, and afterwards, talked to me and my colleague. It's worth standing around for the energy. I just found out about Maggie yesterday. There is a real warmth to her music. Her voice is so beautiful. She has a levity to her writing but also oscillates between this real light, float-like quality to a more grounded, folk chorus. I like the way she juxtapositions the two, they work real well together.

The progression of the strength of her voice, the airy tone of the chorus and the mastering of this song are an absolute masterpiece!!!
