Forgive me but how could you say something so ignorant about someone else’s art? Songs are poetry and poetry is so subjective, that line means something to the artist and to the listeners who interpret their own meaning. As for how I got acquainted with Maggie Rogers, when I worked as a hotel receptionist, she stood in the hotel where I worked. She performed this song at a modest venue in my city. After that performance, she appeared warm and engaged the audience in conversation, and afterwards, talked to me and my colleague. It's worth standing around for the energy.
