I love the nostalgia this video evokes. Suits the song perfectly. The old, rustic weekend camp hall building where everyone would eat lunch together, the canoe paddles on the dock on a cool, hazy fall morning, playing card games to pass the slow time. Love it. Brings me back to my early high school and middle days, the beautiful, blue lake and mountains in the backdrop, the autumn leaves damp and faded upon the dirt road, the adorable dogs paddling through the water. Wish I could go back sometimes, but am happier now than I’ve ever been so it’s purely sentimental.

After his passing one day when I was in shambles I discovered That's Where I Am without ever hearing Maggie Rogers before. I wish I could explain the way this song makes me feel. Whenever I get anxious or become overwhelmed by depression, I'll have this song on repeat. Thank you for your music. Wowowow I'm never going to get tired of this song. I'm 19 now but I'll be blasting this song until I'm laying on my death bed.

You know, it's watching a video like this that makes me remind myself how much I don't care about dancers or fashion or other bullsh@t. This is a great song. That's all I need.

I saw her last night in Portland (ME). She seems very genuine, humble, and talented. Her, and her outstanding backup trio did a brief but solid set. I'm rather old and jaded, but I have to say she is one of the most interesting new performers I have heard in years. I hope she has lots more in the tank. Thanks, Maggie. It's nice to find inspiration in someone once in a while. It's so rare these days...

I just found out about Maggie yesterday. There is a real warmth to her music. Her voice is so beautiful. She has a levity to her writing but also oscillates between this real light, float-like quality to a more grounded, folk chorus. I like the way she juxtapositions the two, they work real well together.
