She's really a Legend. One of the greatest actresses! Her performances are uncomparable. She knew as few performers how to properly spell the words, what a great voice and sense of acting. RIP Dame Maggie Smith, gone but won't be forgotten.

Depends on what you're looking for. The first two that come to mind (other than "Jean Brodie") are "Hot Millions" a fun little 1960s comedy with Peter Ustinov (and a rare film appearance by Bob Newhart) in which Maggie plays a very amusing cockney--which she also did later on in an episode of The Carol Burnett Show. And she is both poignant and delightfully charming and funny (a bit of physical comedy she does which approaches slapstick and which is a master class all on its own in one scene) in a 1970s romance with a younger man "Love and Pain and the Whole Damn Thing."
