The second song is from Disney's animated Hunchback of Notre Dame. There's a International gold medalist quartet that does a medley of the whole score. They're called the Ringmasters, and the lead holds out notes FOREVER a couple of different times. Worth a reaction, if you have chance.

If you don’t know much of The Bells Of Notre Dame, you really need to watch (or read-watch?) The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. The music is absolutely everything and the vocal performances are sublime. Definitely one of my top 3 favorite Disney movies.

This is an old one and you may have already reacted to it after it came out, but I have been just listening to "oh come all ye faithful" by them. CJ is just one of my favorite voices. He is amazing and has the lead in it. If you have reacted to it I highly recommend it. They are all just amazing in it.

I love when a group or even individual singer does a well known song and unexpectedly but smoothly interleaves another song that is musically or thematically related. Another example of this is PTX Amazing Grace.The surprise at hearing the other song and how it fits is a big boost in the enjoyment level. And of course this is Voctave doing it! 🎵

On her weekly Twitch livestream (though on a much deserved break right now), Maggie has done a LOT of Voctave reactions. There is a viewer who watches her livestreams who seems a bit obsessed with Voctave so he has sponsored quite a few for her reaction. I can remember a few he has sponsored...Smile, Mary Did You Know, O Come All Ye Faithful, Over The Rainbow, Someday, You Will Be Found, The Impossible Dream, Poor Unfortunate Souls/I Put A Spell On You, Disney Halloween Mashup (Paint feat Voctave). There may be others. He has a bad memory. Haha.

Maggie, Thank you for your reactions to Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame - A Cappella by Voctave. Voctave's voices were amazing and their harmony together was really crazy. But blended together very well like a brush painting out a picture of a song.

Happy Holidays Maggie! Voctave is one of my favorite groups. Another of my favorite groups is LIBERA boy’s choir. They also sing “Carol of the Bells” that to me is one of the best I’ve heard. Another must listen to is LIBERA’s “Cum Dederit” from Vivaldi’s “Nisi Dominus”. They perform so many amazing songs and deserve to have more exposure.

This reminded me of the version Peter Hollens did 5 years ago featuring the BYU Vocal Point, BYU's Mens Choir and The One Voice Children's Choir. That was pretty epic. Hopefully someone will sponsor it soon.

Meh…I guess Voctave is okay. 🤣🤣 You know my opinion. It’s just nice to occasionally not be the one that sponsors their videos. Lol! So thank you Bart! Definitely a fun reaction. Clearly, all of the good reactions that are being posted to your channel came from the live stream that I missed. My life in a nutshell. But seriously, I hope you are enjoying your break. I hope you are finding at least a little bit of time to unwind and relax.

4:12 I should have paid better attention to the title. They blend at lest two different songs for Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame into their rendition of The Carol of the Bells. Most notably the song "The Bells of Notre Dame" at the time stamp I've marked. But they also start off with the musical refrain of Heaven's Light/Hellfire before they ever actually get into The Carol of the Bells.

One thing I find funny when 1st soprano Kate Lott is hitting that long high note is that the 2 that are plugging their ear are the 2nd soprano Tiffany Coburn and the 1st tenor E J Cardona. Tiffany can sing at times just as high as Kate. E J sings the highest of all the men and can really sing up there.
@markovichsteve58232 жыл бұрын
Tiffany & E J each have impressive solos. For Tiffany its O Holy Night, and for E J its O Come All Ye Faithful.

Thaks for doing this! You are really entertaining :) Kate is a true coloratura Soprano and that is her real range ( actually higher on some songs) A few other teaching sopranos, that have reviewed Voctave, have all said she is the best there is in any kind of choir or group!( She has sung for President Obama among other events all around the states)If you would like to hear things that they do that the smaller groups can't do ( at least without layering) check out The Prince Of Egypt, Stampede from The Lion King and The Great Movie Medley ( an ode to the great John Williams movie scores) And as others have mentioned Mary Did You Know featuring the man who wrote the lyrics and Oh Come All Ye Faithful Featuring EJ on tenor. A fun , touching one is You Will Be Found, done virtually including people from 55 other countries! They take pride in never using auto-tune on their vids and albums, so they sound the same when they are live.
