They changed quite a bit, but I'm positively surprised how well they still maintained their brutality and haviness. I think they are even heavier and more brutal then before. With this album, IMO Maggot Colony is on par with Coprocephalic's "The Oath of Relinquishment". Most definitely a contender for best Slam Death album 2017!

Im about to be 33 and its amazing how many great bands there are nowadays. They might not be something you wanna listen to everyday like dying fetus, original decapitated, older lamb of god, death, black dahlia murder, pantera, slayer or necrophagist but bands like this are fuckin good. I've discovered like 30 bands in the past month that i wish had a tour together like summer slaughter but a 3 day event like lollapalooza but instead of 3 days in a row it was consecutive weekends. Day 1 bands basically travel to the city first and then the next weekend the 2nd day bands come through. So not all bands are together. Its like 3 different mini tours but under the same umbrella so its all good shit. And you have time to recover between em. Or if they were spaced out every 2 weeks youd have something to look forward to. Fuck i want necrophagist back.

The album as a whole is fantastic, but certain things I wish would've been changed like the production for each song would be the same, and that the three old songs would be scattered throughout the album instead of at the very end so that the album could end off with Omnipotent Hands.
