To be honest.,it was the title that made me watch..lol!! I'm an older dude...later 50's, when I flip through YT, strange shit is what i.usually click on. Maggots..how divine!!😁 Max...I actually learned things about maggots other than, that they make good fish bait. Yeah my viewing varies at 4 AM. First I caught up on the maggots, next I'll probably watch a video on what some would say is great maggot food. That would most likely be an actual human post morten. (autopsy) Great video Max!! At least you ain't burrowing under a TX. crawlspace looking for WDB's!! TTYL

Thank you for your kind words Patrick. I’m glad you saw my video on the rattlesnake relocations as well! Between them and sea turtles, it’s definitely exciting. I’ll have some more rattlesnake content coming soon, so make sure you keep an eye out for it

Soldier Fly, how many days do you feed? Every day...or once every few days...

Best to regulate feeding amounts so that feed is consumed in one to two days. That allows the moister, fouling and odor control to be kept in check as well as invasive insects. As they grow the amount is adjusted to get them to the next feeding. Feeding on day one may be about a cup but by harvest for a bin producing 20-25 lbs of larva will consume 7 to 8 lbs of feed per day.
