Hi! You may not remember me, but about 3 weeks ago, I told you I'd check out this video sometime and I enjoyed it! Thanks again for all of your hard work and I'd also like to send out my thanks to everyone else who contributed to this in any way. Although I could do without the ending, this movie is very nostalgic and wonderful to me. There seems to be a sub missing though, if that matters to you. For the first couple of words in the song that starts around 42:00, to be specific. There may or may not have been another brief area without subs, but if so then I don't remember where. Nevertheless, you all did an amazing job! As you say, cheers!

I sincerely hope I'm not being rude for doing this but if you don't mind, I'd like to return the favor to you for directing me here. I'm not sure of how much you like anime, but if you enjoy one with good storytelling (in my opinion at least), then there's one right here on KZbin for you to enjoy. I believe the company that owns it posted it, so it shouldn't get taken down or anything. At least I hope it never will. Regardless, I'll leave a link for you and anyone else who reads this to enjoy it. But be warned. Even though this is a children's anime, people who cry very easily or absolutely cannot tolerate seeing the mistreatment of others in any way may not want to watch this. And people who struggle in having patience or forgiveness for the undeserving are probably better off not watching this. I've watched this entire series through and I don't regret it. In my opinion, based on the common knowledge that the 1981 Dr. Slump and Arale-chan anime was a huge inspiration for the Mario universe as admitted by Shigeru Miyamoto in interviews, Mario being transported to a fantasy land comes from Dr. Slump's "Fairy Tale Machine" concept, where the characters of Slump were transported into books like Alice in Wonderland and Arabian Nights. This becomes more apparent in Miyamoto's follow-up to Super Mario Bros, Doki Doki Panic, where the characters are literally transported into a fairy tale book.

Watched this on vinesauce and didn't know it was a new restoration until the very end.
