It bothered me that Joseph Smith saw light beings and translated the book of Mormon by looking into a dark hat and his witnesses later recanted and left the church. I don’t know when this was preached but it is everywhere now in the entertainment industry. Even cartoons and commercials. The subtle way they are pushing it also…..with humor mostly. You cannot be possessed by a Demon if you are saved AND born again nor can witchcraft affect you (via another person) but Satan can still tempt you and try and harass you till the day you die. It's not bad if she's a witch, it's bad if she's not wise enough to discern the spirits. Communication with the dead is usually communication with demons because they pose as dead people, they wear many masks & even pretend to be angels, very sneaky. If you have the Holy Spirit obviously you can't be demon possessed because you're spiritually full so nothing else can fit, but those that don't might have dark spirits inside them without knowing. To see the difference, those with the Holy Spirit usually get attacked by dark spirits from the outside-in, those with demon spirits are usually the perpetrators. Look really carefully to see what's what, bastards are tricky. With the Holy Spirit, you know good from evil spiritually because you constantly reflect inwardly on yourself, but demonic spirits blind you from inward reflection because you'll see them inside you, they don't like being seen.

The spirit of DIVINATION is in practically in every single Christian church these days, ESPECIALLY the "charismatic" "church". People love their "prophets"/LIARS. Clamoring for a "sign" and a "word from GOD", seeking everything BUT GOD. John makes some really good points here. I'm not a subscriber to everything John believes as the LORD said "These SIGNS will FOLLOW them that BELIEVE", that means FOREVER. The 'gifts' did not stop but they are also handed out VERY sparingly due to man's pride and tendency to abuse them. What we have no are counterfeits, lying "pastors", none really telling the truth, having a FORM of godliness but with NO spirit or ability to demonstrate the POWER of a BORN AGAIN servant of the LORD.

I had a weird sleep paralysis experience once. I woke up and couldnt move but I wasn’t scared I was just like “oh must be sleep paralysis” so I waited for it to pass… but what really FREAKED ME THE F OUT!! Was when I heard some unfamiliar voice say “I love you (my name)” and then I felt lips on mine and then I started struggling. As this thing was kissing me I felt like my energy was being drained and that I needed to fall asleep. But I fought that feeling and when the paralysis ended no one was in my room!!

Here in South Africa call them Sangoma (witch doctor). They worship their dead ancestors & belive that they recieve powers from them. Many young people are now drawn in to that believing that they are called to it. They become sick & encounter unfortunate personal tragedies which lead them to believe that the ancestors are calling them to become a Sangoma. Their initiation processes involve very scary things like drinking blood if cows & chickens, chanting to spirits outside after midnight, finally going into the ocean & emerging fully initiated after long periods of time up to several weeks. I've personally witnessed a young initiate woman entering the ocean while her Gobela (trainer) watched & she left without the young woman who did not come out of the ocean. I stood from the distance watching in shock.

God's foreknowledge does not equate to forced knowledge. God draws all men unto Him and He gives a measure of faith to every man, it's then up to us to decide where to place our faith. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

Everyone please keep in mind demons at times have foreknowledge of what they are able to do and have the ability to make it a reality. Remember the book of Job, when Satan was in heaven and God proposed to him His servant Job? Remember the conversation, think about it, the Lord proposed to Satan that he can do whatever he wants to Job, as long as he didn't hurt Job (at the beginning, later on God gives Satan authority to harm Job physically), that's right, Satan had authority BEFORE these things happened to Job. Imagine you now inject a tarot reader or other occult person to tell Job "oh Job, the stars are telling me that your children will be killed and all your livestock be taken away!" I think this is how a lot of this works the demons only operate on God's authority, but remember, our LORD tests our minds to see of we really love Him. Stay strong brothers and sisters, and stay away from this stuff.

Becoming demonically oppressed or even possessed is a process that takes time. Former occultists have shared insider information on dark arts, magic, psychics, etc that end up in demonic possession. A demon cannot simply force their way into your body unwillingly. Possession takes time as you subject yourself to occult practices and mystery religion. Such as "emptying your mind, filling yourself with energy", "tuning your soul to certain frequencies", taking psychedelics and having "ego deaths", etc etc. I am also a former occultist but I wasn't aware of it. I was definitely on the road to becoming demonically influenced or even possessed but I was delivered from it before I got caught in it's tentacles.

@Steven Leak, you may have this answer, since this was asked 1 year ago...but- it is true that Americans are (considered) FREE but we have more prisons and jails than any other nation on earth! And those (so-called) correction institutions are Full and Overflowing...right? That doesn't mean we're trying to have it both ways and we don't need to put a lot of spin on the term we call "Freedom" Freedom in any way, shape or form means you have the liberty or right to do as you desire. Now I must admit that saying America is a Free Nation or Country is not the greatest example since almost everything (the companies, government, entertainment, sports, recreational events and suggestions, [including 85% of the church or religious organizations] are focused on profit margins and money! But it is the "Original Intent" that this principle is based on. both "Free Will" and demonic possession work on the exact same principle. Demonic possession is a choice anyone can freely make. Freedom of choice is exactly what it says it is. Meaning, each individual is FREE to CHOSE who they want to serve, who they desire to spend their time with, what they want to worship and how they want to live. God hasn't nor will He ever ignore anything or anyone...that's why we say there is a judgement day> In the beginning God created man and gave "Them Dominion" over the earth and all the creatures created. This is why it often seems that God ignores things but the Truth is, We are just as responsible for our actions as the God or gods we serve and submit to. Why would God make every choice and decision for us? That would mean that He created (not men and women but) personal -eternal slaves. What kind of God would do that?...oh, my bad the god of demons, satan himself. God wants us to freely serve Him, He desires that we treat others as we desire to be treated...when we submit to forces of darkness and have mass killings and rape and adultery and mass corruption at every level. I'm not here to preach to you just trying to answer the question...If you want to blame God for ignoring the "most likely innocent people" that's fine, I'm sure you have reasons to assume as you will, that's the freedom that you have...but, if fingers are pointed at God for the wickedness of men...why are we pointing them? All people aren't wicked, as you've stated many are average citizens, not offensive, most likely innocent... Truth is, God is so merciful, He not only temporarily allows the evil to flourish but He also spares those who are bold enough to challenge and falsely accuse Him of the evil that WE allow in our cultures...it's much easier for us to say, "Where Was God" than "Where Are The Good, Just, Innocent People" that should stand up against wickedness and corruption in their communities, towns, parishes, cities, countries and nations? So, why do we blame God? ...or even go as far as saying God is not real?...Maybe it's because we're afraid to stand up, open our eyes- "Fight Against" and blame the power of black magic or demonization in our society.

I have had dreams where I felt an extremely heavy demonic presence and would try to speak the name of Jesus Christ and not be able to open my mouth. It’s extremely terrifying and my wife woke me up once saying I was making incoherent sounds and she was worried. I felt so relieved that she woke me up. Mine started at six and i would have the same dream. There were monster's walking infront of my hotel room door , though i dont remember this hotel room in my waking life. They would then come in and i learned to hide behind the door as i had it all the time. I grew up in this environment and culture with black magic called Santaria. I would tell my mother Santaria wasn’t from God and I was about ten years old.
