I personally like the ceramic blades they definitely cut alot smoother. It dose also depend on how well your titanium blades are sharpend. Also as long as there sharpend correctly and not over sharpend. And like you said you wouldn't normally go that fast.

Just like trying new stuff out but what I’m liking so far is an easy fade process that goes by half guard closed then 1 closed and then 1 1/2 closed. Works for me and it’s simple 😎 so I’ll just keep it like that. Thanks for all your support bro means a lot.

@Rusiputki
@Rusiputki 5 жыл бұрын
Isn't the whole point of Ceramic to be maintenance free? You never have to send it to be sharpened as it does it with each use, where the typical stainless steel is blunt after few months. My biggest worry with clippers is unlike knives I can't sharpen them, so I'd gladly invest in a ceramic if it stays consistent over 5-10 years period. Thoughts?
@iamcesarq
@iamcesarq 4 жыл бұрын
HenryMania I really doubt the ceramic blades stay sharp for that long brother, I believe they lost a couple months longer to a year than the stainless steel, with replacing the top blade. There’s a lot of sharpening videos but not enough detailed information brother. I myself am trying to get educated when it comes to blade sharpening but it is tough. Sure there are classes but they are really expensive

I remember cutting my own hair like it was yesterday 😂how Exacly I thought a fade was.just skin on the side with hair on top. Didn’t know what anything was. But glad I learned sanitation fist hand and how important it is. My mom didn’t support me on cutting hair and allways got heated when I wanted to purchase a new clipper or upgrade a trimmer. Or restock in supplies. All she knew I would go their every few 2-3 months.fast forward a few years now I have majority of things needed to shape people up. First thing I learned by myself was a razor I got really great on it. Never Ickes anyone with a straight razor. I purchased my first clipper and trimmer that came with it. 60$ bucks for the peanut trimmer and designer clipper. Trimmer didn’t turn on at all.and the clipper could not zero gap fully😕 anyways I improved soo much. Now am chopping it up with my cousins if my unkle wants to cut their hair. Or my pops. Am the only child so I get everybody a shape up it crazy😂but keep pushing content bro🔥

The magic clip will pull regardless what blade is on it! Especially with that length hair and/or how fast your moving.. As the torque on the motor is no way as strong as the senior, balding or babyliss fx et etc. Magic clip is more for fading and not taking off bulk. Whereas ceramic on the machines mentioned differences can be noticed. I know.. Been a barber for too long! Ha.
@kathypear2540
@kathypear2540 2 жыл бұрын
That makes so much sense! I just bought a cordless magic clip, oil it all the time and pulls thick hair like crazy. I thought it was just a full blade but I guess it’s not made for debulking??
@moushe786
@moushe786 2 жыл бұрын
@@kathypear2540 you can debulk but you have to slow right down even then can pull hair. It's not efficient specially when running a shop or trying to cut hair at normal speed. I wouldn't bother, debulk with a beefier machine and once the excess is off then switch back to the magic clip if you like to fade with it. It's an excellent machine but does get noisier over time but then it's a cheap easy fix just need new "cam followers".
@giancarlorivera8113
@giancarlorivera8113 Жыл бұрын
@@kathypear2540 I've read that cordless magic clip's blade moves forward and backward, unlike the coded version (which I bought) that's why it pulls the hair in some occasion.
@iamcesarq
@iamcesarq Жыл бұрын
Hey guys, the magic motor is a lot slower meaning it is not meant for bulk at all, best for fading since it is more forgiving when it comes to taking hair off due to its slow motor and staggered blade it comes with. The staggered blade is like point cutting the hair A lot if machines out nowadays focus more on torque and power better overall clippers Right now I am enjoying the ergo x very powerful but since it has a magnetic motor keeps it quiet but not as powerful as a rotary motor. If you want something for bill the seniors, masters and even babyliss clippers are great.

@@iamcesarq so barber college/course is easy then? How long of a process is it and about how much does it cost to be licensed? I'm trying to learn the logistics of it all to the extent of owning your own shop.
