banger track! your lyrics and composition are way above what I would expect from a 500 sub channel. if you're willing to take constructive criticism there are a few things I noticed that might push the music from good to great (or not, I'm just a rando on the internet)

@@CaptainThrack it really does sound amazing ! I just wanted to give some unsolicited opinions on music :P 1.I know it's probably a style choice, but I still want to bring it up just in case. There are some points in the music where vocals don't line up with each other. (this isn't necessarily bad) I would recommend either lining up the vocals with each other, or making sure that they start a 16th apart but stay synced up otherwise. it's easier to work with vocals in mixes if you make sure that you have at least one second of silence before the vocal comes in on the recording (this lets you cut to your desired length in post, and is one of the benefits of not doing music live) (if it's a style choice you can probably ignore this point) 2.I am personally a bass addict for a couple of reasons. (and I'm not talking about just writing in the lower register) when you are equalizing music the easiest way to tackle the process is by dividing your eq station into three main points, the 'highs' 'mids' and 'lows' but it is important to note that even stuff that is sung or written purely in the soprano line will still benefit from not cutting (or in some cases by increasing) the bass frequencies. if your EQing is done properly it will fill out the sound more than almost anything else you can do (sans adding major tracks and efx) you might want to experiment in whichever station you are using to find a nice 'blanket mix' or one that you can put over any track as a baseline. 3. i did notice some points in multiple vocal tracks where it sounded like you would move away from the microphone mid line(this can also be solved with proper equalizing) if you are using a directional mic it might help to also get a cheap omnidirectional mic to experiment with (or vice versa) I personally use two microphones for vocals, most people use one, and I've seen some sickos use upwards of 4 (they're usually trying to record for a whole band, and will have two to three mics on the singer, and one on the room for room noise) 4. the TLDR of this is to just work on vocal timings, and your mixing/eqing strategy. ALSO I did a little bit of channel digging (hehe) and saw you had a collab with 4everfreebrony for winter. when you're reaching out to someone don't be scared to ask them how they mix their tracks and what kind of software they use. I'm fresh out of college with a music ed. degree (yuck) so my knowledge on the subject isn't the *best* beyond the basic stuff, but since you've got great outreach I'm sure others in the community would be more than happy to give some advice. (sorry for the rant feel free to disregard as much as you want ;p)

@tugh34 good advice! I do get a lot of recommendations from 4everfree, MelodyBrony, Koa, and a few others. Where did you go to school? I also just graduated music Ed funny enough

@@CaptainThrack no way lol that's great. I went to school at the university of Utah, and I'm actually planning on going to my community college for a couple of classes on other subjects like CS and music prod. You've got a really strong baseline and starting point so I can only imagine you getting insanely good
