Darkness This never ending light I am not heartless In this fight The sounds move Taunting me I need to prove I will be free This light that holds me close I will break free from its binds I think that it knows But it doesn't mind Breaking free from this light This never ending task This darkness I will smite To break free from this mask This impossible goal It will precede I shall be made whole I shall be freed This thing that elude me now This never ending light I shall beat this I vow I shall find the Gift of Sight

@Gabriela-vm4qy3 жыл бұрын
@@victormenescal3686 It depends on the given situation. Let's say I'm planning a trip to London but I'm really afraid of flying. The gift of sight would definitely annul all my fears because I would be able to see my plane landing safely in London. I know what you mean, let's say you foresee the death of someone close to you, is that a good thing or bad? I don't know, some people would like to be aware of what's to come, I'm one of them. I believe if you have some extra time before something bad is due to happen you might have a chance to change something, I don't know, it's hard to tell. I was really fascinated by a SF book named The Greenhouse, the main character here could predict the future five minutes before it happened. I thought it was so cool to be able to do that.

- Lily Anna

Witching Hour Embers caressing the broken trees, a vivid cloud reaching out to me. In my hand, there was a pulse I couldn’t see. A flash, a bright glow in the mist. The ashes of the fire dance into the air, and suddenly I forget I was there. The green sat beneath me, and penetrated the physical sense that led from a memory to this type of reality. A gleam in the eyes of another, where they will meet, and join hands, then walk with us forever. Thumping behind the benches that the children climb on during the day, mild and glistening smiles until they go to bed and lay. She whispers to them then, “don’t be afraid”. Under the blankets we hide, until we envelope ourselves in disguise. Sheltered behind the full moon, in a dream, in a song, we call out and wish to see you soon.

This is suprisingly good! I love the string melody that hits at 3:14, gives the song another dimension, almost oriental. Great work, I can't wait to listen to the rest of the songs! Btw, considering how well produced the songs are, the artwork and the fact that you uploaded these in quick succession, have you been working on getting this channel up for a while?

Hey Star, thanks for the kind words and i really appreciate your comment. I've had this channel since early last year but only started focusing on uploading original compositions for about 8 months now. I have roughly 2-3 times more music that i haven't finished or am yet to upload which is building rapidly haha. I can manage about 5-6 pieces a week if i had the time but i have been working so much lately. Are you a musician? Thanks for the comment and have a great week Star

***** Ah I see, pretty amazing how fast they flow out of you, you must have a lot of inspiration. I've dabbled a little in a few things, but I'm not really a musician. I do like to write, draw and sing though, so I'm producing some stuff at a hobby level. It's a completely different style and not nearly as beautiful or well done as this. After a few more listens, I figured what this song reminded me off. Ever seen the movie; The Fountain? The soundtrack made by Clint Mansell is incredible and this reminds me a bit of it.

Seems everyone has a story they thought fit this song XD let me see... "You don't fear me? They say all sorts of awful things about me dear... So much embellishment really... Hm... Well let's see what ails you-yes I know I look akin to a blind old invalid, but there's more than meets the eye... Hmm... Oh... I see... Ha! You're not cursed dear one- who told you that garbage? No... You're issue lies more in a desperation to be loved- yes... That's it. You think your fate disfavorable but you simply look for affection in ALL of the wrong places dear... Yes... Oh dear- always the young ones hm? They're not looking for husbands dear- no... They're not ready for a man, no... Try yourself a more MATURE woman why don't you?... Hm yes... Oh dear no- not THIS old crone HAHAHA!- no... Older but not THAT old Hahahahahahaha!"
