True, but if you go back and watch the '91 Finals, every single time Magic took Jordan or Pippen to the post, it was a bucket either for Magic or a teammate. At that time, Jordan wasn't strong enough to defend Magic down low. However, Magic had zero chance defending Jordan on the perimeter 🤷‍♂️

I remember Lakers won game 1 and then in game 2 Chicago switched Pippen onto Magic so Jordan didn't have to expend as much effort on defense. If the bulls didn't make the switch to Scottie defending magic, I think the series goes to 6 or 7 games. Heck, the Lakers might have stole the series

​@kenjenkins7183 If you go back and watch, Jordan still guarded Magic quite a bit during and after game 2. The decision was to switch back and forth, which, again, neither had an answer for Magic in the post vs both could clamp on the perimeter.

@@columbusohio72 I'm not a kid and saw Magic's entire career and he's not TOUCHING Jordan in a 1v1. The poster is spot on. HALF of Magic's HOF game is passing and pulling the defense OFF of him. With no one to pass to Jordan is going to smother him defensively and Magic was stiff on defense and Jordan worked-over much much better defenders than Magic.

Uhhh...no. Magic had no one to pass to and a limited shooting range. And Magic's defense was suspect. The only game Magic would have against Mike would be backing him down in the post and Jordan is way too athletic on defense to lose against a single move. Magic can be your favorite player or even your GOAT. But he's not beating Jordan 1on1.

Mercedes and Alfa Romeo are "ego" performance brands. They got all the flash. They are great for short trips. But they are expensive to own and maintain. Their overall reliability and dependability are suspect: needs a lot of down time with mechanics so they can run optimally. Honda is a brand that is affordable to own and maintain. They are great for the long haul. They rank among the top brands in terms of overall reliability and dependability. Yes, if Mercedes, Alfa Romeo and Honda were NBA players, for 1 vs 1 Mercedes and Alfa Romeo may perform better than Honda. But for total performance during the whole NBA season, Honda may be better...less games missed because of injury...less headache for the team members, coaches, and owners. Note: Honda has won in various racing series, including the Indy 500 and Formula One. So, they can't be taken for granted either.
