Magic Kingdom MAJOR UPDATES! NEW Jungle Cruise Scenes, Thunder Mountain Refurb, Masks, Summer Crowds

A visit to Magic Kingdom in June 2021 for LOTS OF UPDATES and my first time back to Walt Disney World since my trip and my first time back at Disney World since the mask rules changed! Join me as I take you on a stroll around the park, showing the sights, sounds, details and discuss some of the major updates that are going on for summer 2021, including new scenes on the Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's upcoming refurbishment, what crowd levels are looking like, fireworks, of course mask policy updates, new PhotoPass photo ops and more! Of course we take a ride on Big Thunder Mountain before it closes for a temporary refurb and take on a ride on the Jungle Cruise to check out the new scenes and construction, and of course a lovely ride on Haunted Mansion because a day at Magic Kingdom wouldn't be complete without it (and I show you the magic Leota painting and the secret ghosts in the Memento Mori haunted mansion store)!! I also show you some of the construction going on at The Contemporary Resort as the monorail passes through it and we get a look at the Polynesian Monorail station construction as we drive back to the TTC at the end of the day! I love when people make the best of a day at Disney. Those kids singing along with the marching band to a "spoonful of sugar" made me giddy too. I used to splash and jump in the puddles with my kids when it rained, instead of be sad about it. We sang "the rain, rain, rain, came down, down, down." From Winnie the Pooh. Just pure Disney magic.

My wife, daughter, and I were at Epcot the Friday night the facemask announcement was made - and the difference in our visit the next two days was huge. Interesting observation we made was that there was actually better compliance indoors since masks weren’t required outside.

🤣 Oh the “Sheeeesh” thing! That is so funny b:/c the first time I heard it was on Tonya’s live feed (That Crazy Disney Lady) a few weeks ago in EPCOT, she heard a bunch of kids doing it and asked a teenager just standing around what the heck it was and then they explained that they just do when someone does something funny or ironic - and it just starts escalating from there in like an echo fashion if they’re out in public! 😆 I asked my teenaged daughter about it, and she was like OMG mom that is old, but I’m like it’s everywhere! 🤣

You’re right about big thunder. My son was afraid of a lot of rides, but that was his first “coaster” he liked it’s a great warm up ride for kids. Lol I think your Starbucks or Powerade kicked in at the end of your video. Loved the beginning with the dapper dans! , Christina

I’m with you about the fast passes. I’d rather have virtual queues for anything over 50-60 minutes. I’d also rather be in a line the moves as opposed to standing.. couple steps… stand…etc. welcome back!

Yes, you can see your hard work that goes into the video. I love how you pick the music to compliment the video throughout the video in various spots. Cheese........yep.........sheeeese............sheeeee............hehe.....cute. Not mocking anyone. It's like the Child/toddler (2-3 year old) drawing a head with arms, & 2 legs. Because from infancy they see our faces, our arms reaching for them, & as they are learning to walk, all they see are our legs. That's why they draw stick figures. Loved how you were so emotional and happy to be back to Magic Kingdom your passion shows with your kindness and Great Heart There is rumor that fast past will be included with your day ticket .they're thinking about charging for fast pass and changing the name to Lightning pass and it can possibly cost anywhere from 100,-300 extra to get in a fast pass line. Rumors but I guess Disney is following other theme parks that charge for fast lines keep up the Great Work !😁👍loved the ending with cool music👍😁

Ahh the Haunted Mansion! That is my all time favorite ride too. I like to think I am the unofficial 1000th Happy Haunt. I could spend all day in Memento Mori as well. So many very cool Haunted Mansion things to buy. That shooting arcade was always a super secret place to keep cool but now that summer is here, everyone will run to that for sure, well at least until it reopens. Watching you walk around with no mask surely warms my heart and gives me hope that we are nearly out of this pandemic mess. It just feels like things will be back to normal soon. Okay... I work with the youth at our church so I’m 100% founding out what that “sheee” (sheen?!) is all about!! That story of yours literally made me say out loud “I want to be best friends with her!” That is SO what i would do! 😂
