The beauty of those hypnotized into left/right narratives is they can't help but announce their faith early on in a conversation. Less time wasted before I just leave and rewatch a solo show to get my daily Gordon. Also I'd bet money he's cool with virulent patriotism and ethnic identity when it comes to one specific form of ongoing colonization, it's only when it's not performed by "friends and family" that he finds it appalling and savage. It's always Russia or China because the only alternative is for him to say "it's us!" and that doesn't comport with how this brand of supremacy works. Lachman is another example of a mouthpiece of the borg. I like listening to these types for the same reason I like reading Freud: If you ignore the parroting of party lines/truth inversions/projections of the consequences of eons of cultural isolation and listen for the emotional content you can map the paranoia and entitlement underneath to get an image of how they think.

Most librarians are against the repression of info- sadly, the public library boards are filled with conservatives that put a tremendous amount of pressure on public libraries to remove many titles.
