Looks insane!!! It seems wonderful for pro magicians. I'll have to stay with my Tarantula II and simple loops for now, though :)

Good review David! Thanks! I’m two weeks in with my Gravity Reel. The only criticism I have is having to purchase the ‘holster’ separately, as you stated. But, I did, because I knew right away I’d use it. This is not a toy. The programmable features are a huge benefit! Assembling it and spooling it yourself is actually important. I’m pleased it didn’t come pre-spooled as it allowed me to get some hands on time understanding it. The thread is plenty strong. I’ve been using ITR’s for over 20 years. It’s not the most “invisible” thread, but, you have to find a balance between strength and lack of visibility. I have no issues with the thread. I believe, in summary, it’s the programmability of this device which sets it apart from all the other reels out there. Every tool has its place. Older ITRs still have their place cemented in everyday use. This goes to a whole new level. Expensive, but very adaptable. I’m not disappointed.

I don't know if you still look at these reviews David, but I wanted to thank you for an excellent review and preventing any "buyers remorse". I was able to purchase a new Gravity at a significant discount just now so hopefully, you haven't changed your thoughts. ITR's have their own special world and I think this one will be worth the practice from your comments. Thank you, ED

When you mentioned that you can purchase a belt clip for it, the first thing I thought was, “For all the work they put into it and for the price tag, a belt clip should’ve been included.” And then you said what I was thinking, (you often do). I.T. isn’t my thing, but I thoroughly enjoyed this review and I think if I was into I.T. work, this would be on my ‘must have’ list, just by this review alone. Once again, a great, thorough, and fair review!

I've had my eye on this for the past month. Fantastic review as always. I often buy the products you review-- But when it comes to ITR I get very frustrated so I'll probably just stick to my Loops for now-- but at some point I won't be able to resist trying a professional ITR. Thanks!!!!

For ease of use, i would prefer spider pen X. The sticker given can't really stick firmly to the reel. Setting up the IT on the 2 reels took over an hour for me. In the end, i have to use the tack to anchor the initial IT on the reel. Wasted the entire spool because of the entanglement. So my verdict is that if you don't like the hassle and prefers siimple IT routines, spider pen X will be better. I would suggest that Joao look at using better sticker to help anchor the initial IT on the spools or/and have the spools come ready with the IT on them already just like Spider Pen X to save us all the hassle.

I've been waiting for this! Thank you for your excellent review as always👍 It cost about 600 dollars in total to buy Gravity + accessories such as 2 gravity tacks, 10 spools, extra IT(1,500ft) and holder and toe switch😥 I think it would have been nice to put the holder in gravy just as a service. But there is no alternative to product like this in the market, ITR workers should get this!

Is the thread less visible then the thread that comes with Venom ITR? I love the routines I've seen so far and it seems to be a much bigger improvement over Venom. My only concern is that the thread would just be way too visible like Venom ITR was to do the effects. Plus I was always terrible with IT hence why I stuck with loops and Justin Miller's Ring Slide, but this def seems like a step up, even though it's very expensive :/.

How visible is the Gravity thread in relation to The Venom Thread by Magie Factory? Beeen looking for an IT which is strong but less visible as I don’t need it for the large object moves but I just don’t want it to break on the retraction! Hopefully you can help me with this 🙏

Can you please recommend me a a good but cheap itr. I’ve been searching a lot but can’t seem to find something right for me. I own Venom but I am not really satisfied from my purchase. The venom’s thread is too visible for me and my type of performance is more close up street. I am looking for a good ITR with good balance between invisibility and strength. I’ll be thankful with any suggestions.
