Due to the fact, that I recently recognized a "truly colorfull" discussion about the independence and reliability of reviews, I love the fact, that you name two other sources for unbiased or independent reviews.

i'm going to include this in every video going forward - none of us are in competition with each other - we all want to make sure people buy the magic that they'll love

Well, I already have it and I agree with some other people here, cost too much for what you get, at least they would have put there another regular bag to switch it for that price. Love your reviews David , thanks!

Great review... I'm pretty sure Joao Miranda speaks Portuguese, though. Wouldn't make sense to have a performance of him speaking Spanish.

This seems like someone went "TKO 2.0? You can't really buy that anymore, so I don't have to do as much work with this kind of thing these days."

Tko2 is available through Jeff Kaylor’s site I just bought one(for the third time) a couple months back. Jeff’s product is gold and truly functioning and even with the diy it’s so much easier to put together than this turd

Yeh I did the same. I just mean it's one that seems like it should be in the mainstream shops because it's so beloved.

Very nice review and product construction, unfortunately I would prefer something that looks a little bit more organic and less of a stage prop. Obviously depends on the environment yes this would be perfect for stage. I might try a paper bag from McDonald's and make hamburgers disappear :)

magicorthodoxy I’m surprised that you didn’t touch on the fact that one of the routines included is done with props not included and I suspect hard to obtain. But thanks for another great year of reviews hope you double your subs this year

the cereal box? the octopus?
@thestreet95375 жыл бұрын
magicorthodoxy octopus, which is the stronger routine. It’s a great routine, I just think the magic house dropped the ball on its production. This could easily be more$$$ if all the stuff was included, when I saw this I was thinking it’d be a career staple but as you said was underwhelmed. I don’t think this would fly as parlor I had folks ten feet away or so and was called out, I think you really need some space between you and the crowd, but I’m no master magician. You’d have to be quite bold to pull this on the street.

@@thestreet9537 Same here. Bought it before there were any reviews on the reputation of Joao. The cereal routine was meandering at best and I don't love the idea that you need a briefcase on stage. The octopus isn't a routine I would do. But I was surprised that he didn't even just include the simple routine he does on the video where he throws away the bag and takes the sealed envelope from his pocket. Maybe it would be better with more routine suggestions but I just found it had too many limitations.

High quality wool felt is NOT cheap, take it from someone who makes their own close up pads and change bags. Good review.. Don't think I'll buy this since it's another thing I could just make.
@magicorthodoxy5 жыл бұрын
I was totally wondering if it WAS wool felt - but didn't want to say just in case I was wrong
@thestreet95375 жыл бұрын
kidthorazine you could make the dupe bags not included and sell them. I paid 12.00$ bucks a bag to have the tailor do it. Not including the material. So if you can get em out for thirty bucks for the pair. I’d imagine half the people that bought this may spend the dough to get it.
@kidthorazine5 жыл бұрын
@@thestreet9537 Yeah I've though about making props like bags and stuff and selling them, but I'd have to buy a serger and whatnot to do any serious production and I don't really have the time.
@magicorthodoxy5 жыл бұрын
yea spare bags COULD be made from felt - if you had the black bag, itd be easier to match colors
@thestreet95375 жыл бұрын
magicorthodoxy I bought stuff that is similar at Joannes fabric it was just a bit bigger than the bags dimensions had to buy two per bag, can’t remember the price on those though. Not sure if they had red since I bought black.

Yeah I feel like if you're going to sell something this obvious, it had better either be really cheap, extremely high quality or come with some really good advanced routine stuff. This doesn't seem to check any of those boxes.

the bag is a high quality wool material and would last you forever

@@magicorthodoxy I'm sure if you stiched two pieces of good felt together with a sewing machine you could get a pretty good replica. You could even make the sides double thickness to keep it rigid.
