Discord being perfect for chaos is definitely on brand for the character though. He’s pretty much a god of chaos in the show. There’s a great clip where he summons a small cotton candy cloud to fill a glass with chocolate milk, drinks the glass, then throws away the milk and it explodes. For anyone looking to play him IRL, I use a thermal mini printer and a custom scryfall random link connected to iphone shortcuts in order to quick print any cards that I cast. works suprisingly well and is pretty cheap.

The real reason why I'd likely not be ok playing against this commander: Keeping track of all the random permanents that the Discord player has is going to be a nightmare. Since it'll likely involve using something like Scryfall's Random button, I sincerely doubt the Discord player will be able to have access to all of them at the same time. Alternatively they'll need to write everything down on an infinitoken or something similar which will likely eat up a lot of game time.

I was going to make a joke about Discord being the only commander with which you would also bring six d10s and a 600-page affidavit to the table, but I wasn't sure about the number. Apparently Gatherer says there's over 27,600 legal targets for Discord. So, depending on your handwriting size, if we limit 100 names to each side of each page of paper, it's only 139 pages, and only four d10s. Y'know, until more sets come out.
