Run Beam Laser/Ballistic mix on my MAD-IIC-A but with triple UAC5's. With a TCOMP2 the ranges line up and the DPS is great. When Luthien first came out using the Beams as a Laser Sight was cool too since the damn trees you can't tell whats in cover lol.

Got an idea to try beams on a Sun Spider while watching this. Gonna have to see how it works. So far I absolutely suck with beams.

Beams are dps weapon. With all the quirks that come with it. Play it like you would play with auto cannons.

I run this with an AC/10 and 3 ERPPC. Its seriously frosty.

isn't the energy hsl so that you can pair 2 erppc + that gauss to prevent GH? third erppc would be rather an extra sidenode: i wished they toned down the modded beamlaser sound cause my god does the stock MW4 lasersound get on my nerves

Yes, the usual trick on this is 2ERPPC + GAUSS.

That Onion aint pretty as far as mechs go. It does take a beating and is fairly nimble for 75 tonner. I'll try the build this weekend.
