David, love your version of this! A thought on when you insert the card between the joker and the selection. If you remember the two supposed jokers you took out, you’ll know if you inserted it between the joker and the selected card. All you have to do is necktie the fanned cards during the reveal and place the joker and the selected card facedown to be flipped over for the reveal. Great trick, thanks!

I would rather throw the 2 "jokers" on the bottom of the deck before all the cuts because that also gives the illusion they traveled up into the deck.

I like this better than the first explained effect with the Jokers set-up on top and bottom of deck …. BUT, I like the version without a set-up and 2 Jokers in deck … when going thru the deck to find the Jokers, you can place one on top of deck and one on bottom of deck, and still select 2 random cards face down on table (pretending they are the Jokers). A combination of 2 explanations. Thanks David 👍👍

If you put the two "Jokers" back into the box and then after the cards were picked put the rest of the deck in, they would be able to find the picked cards. Inside the box!

You could also have a random card on top of the Joker. Perform a glide and a double and then perform as you explained completely destroying everything they know.

There is a third way to do this trick but its a little different, its the way I originally learned it. It is slightly different but it so the trick might have a different name but it is almost the same thing very very similar.
