Great tutorial. Worth noting that if you don't have a pen handy, being very careful about how you bring the card to the top of the table, so that everyone can see your hands are otherwise empty, then insisting someone goes through the whole deck immediately to check there are no duplicates, works almost as well.

VERY COOL! And this is sooooooo much better than those TRICKS that CA and DB do on TV using paid CONFEDERATES, switching glass while the cameras aren't filming, etc. I am NO fan of CA and DB. I love YOUR presentations! My cats can perform the TV TRICKS of that ilk. Solid thru solid magic is great!

Hi, Nick. It's great to be back to school. As you know, I study in a bilingual class, and there's an Italian in my class. Teacher wants me to teach her math in English(I have no idea what they teach in Italy and how to teach). Anyways, just to let you know, I'm not only a magician but a teacher now!

I don't normally ever teach kids anywhere near that young, but my boss gave me an opportunity for a few Fridays. And the mothers really like me. Tomorrow, I finally get back to 2 evening classes every Tuesday, at TaiDa, that I used to teach that were internet and live. Now only internet. But I am SO HAPPY to begin work again at all! Enjoy your new busy time! 👍😀 OH! And "Very good!" in Italian is, "Multo buono!" I only know a few phrases and how to count in Italian. 🤪

I've used all sorts of glues for this and like I say, a small amount of any adhesive will work. Even spit. But don't use spit 😂

​@@CavanBooth1 I'm 51yo and I've been doing this same trick for decades at home parties and get togethers...spit or condensation from a glass only works within 5-10 seconds...lol I do like a very little bit of wax...traditional magic or beeswax. You nailed my performance of the trick signed card. 👍👍👍

You can place the double crosswise on the card box rather than using a cup. It would also facilitate the picking up of the card(s) . Another suggestion is when you have the card pinned to the underside of the table with your thumb, you can have the spectator place their hand palm up into your cupped hand and drop the card directly into their hand. More impromptu and eliminates the glue.
