Well, unfortunately they can‘t. It wouldn‘t suit to the plot story. Enchantix is the main transformation, the others adapt to the atmosphere (Examples: Sirenix for Ocean, Believix for Earth or Butterflix for Nature)

jay 1 that’s mostly in newer transformations (mostly because of Nickelodeon and for the sake of being family friendly) but in the early rai days they used to look much more serious . I have the whole season 1&2 on dvd .

jay 1 They can smile in transformations, but it’s better to look neutral most of the time since usually battling isn’t a joke. The Nickelodeon dub does have the girls smile and giggle, if you’re wondering.
