Winx Club POWER SWAP! What if they use each other's powers? (+ SONG REMIX)

I’ve always been interested in the concept of switching powers around for the girls to be in each other’s shoes for a while. I remember enjoying it when it happened in the Tinker Bell movies and I wish Winx Club had implemented a storyline like this into the show at one point! I decided to swap their colour schemes in pairs to see what that would look like, and I think the result I achieved is pretty decent!
Huge shoutout to @randoubfam for the original footage which I then recoloured, I couldn’t have even started the video without his help! And another shoutout to @Wandaah who had recoloured the girls’ outfits similarly in her own videos which certainly inspired me to give it a go!
I also used this video to finally release my Magic Winx recomposition which I made over a year ago now. I updated it and remixed the vocals of a couple of Season 1 songs into it, inspired by the Hebrew ‘Combat Power’ remix of the Magic Winx song!

I think it would be a cool idea if the winx in season 9 would face a villain who has the ability to steal, change, or swap their powers and in each episodes they get new powers they need to learn how to control first, so they mess up in fighting (and we see them struggle) and at the end of the season they'd seek help from each magical creature (fairy animals, Silkies, Pixies, mermaids, other fairies in alfea + the headteachers of each school, and even witches) And the Trix (or at least Icy) would change the sides for good this time to help them after Icy's kingdom is free from the shaman's spell) I think that would make a good season, and good to be the last of the series, what do you think about my idea?

​@@maryamsalah8709 this reminds me from one of the Tinkerbell movies for some reasons😂😂😂 There was a mean fairy who switched all of the 6 main characters talents while everybody else was asleep Tinkerbell as a water fairy, Silvermist as a fast-flying fairy, Vidia as a Tinker fairy Rosetta as a animal fairy, fawn as a light fairy and iridessa as a garden fairy but later that same mean fairy (who redeemed herself) switched all of their talents back to their original talents I can see all of this happening in the winx club version already, i do hope they get their talents back at maybe the end of season 9 though😅😅

@@leontineketting97 If i remember the mean fairy DIDN'T appologise for stealing all the blue dust which almost KILLED the giant tree AND prevent everyone from flying. This is a crime, not a tiny mistake like dropping her tea cup. What she did is so cruel! Also, the fairy did it because her boss fired her; she used too much magic dust on a plant, made her grow and destroyed a part of the forest. It didn't crushed anyone but was still dramatic! Apparently, it was not important to her; she abandon her friends than takes revenge on innocent fairies for some reason. This character did more horrible things than good ones. To me, she can't be forgiven. She deserved a punishment like being send to jail or locked in her house for a week.

​@@ladypool1404 i can agree on the plant one she ran away from it and instead of taking her responsibilities for her mistakes, she takes revenge by putting everyone to sleep, steal the pixie dust and switch the girls talents (i'm sure she got dragged and threatened by the pirates to steal the pixie dust or else she no longer belongs to them or even worse purposely let her die but that's my theory, Tink and Fawn said the familair thing when the girls goes after Zarina to get the blue dust back) i don't think she was on her right mind when she became a mean fairy and joined the pirates though, she couldn't think rationally when she got fired from the dust depot either but her redemption was really bad not gonna lie, they could've done better with her redemption Zarina deserves some punishment indeed, taking the book and the blue dust away from her for awhile or something, or get her locked up for a week i wish she was more like Vidia who did maked it up for her mistakes by taking responsibilities for her mistakes and admit for what she did was wrong (the third movie) they could've done something like that to Zarina in the fifth movie but they didn't

I can imagine these pairs working together. Bloom and Stella powers work well together because they both rely on energy based spells. Flora and Aisha spells work well together because both rely on their environment. Musa and Tecna powers work well because they draw their powers from unconventional sources.

I love this idea! I have always thought about it especially when watching Tinkerbell and the pirate fairy when their powers get swapped. Like imagine if the writers were still creative for winx and there was an episode where they were on the planet Aposutus (however you spell it) and there’s a spell that makes their powers the opposite to their original magic. Like Bloom had water, Aisha had fire, Stella had darkness etc

You could go even further with that, even more than just swapping their elements. Bloom draws her power from the dragon flame, that which gives life. The opposite would be ice, decay, stagnancy and death, but also calmness and tranquility. Light has the power to illuminate and unveil mysteries, so the opposite would be illusion and deception. Musa would have to learn to work with silence etc. It would be a great way to do some introspection and let the characters learn how to work with magic, that goes against what they're used to. In hindsight, this would have worked fantastically with season 2's character-driven stories about the Winx' weaknesses as well as convergence magic.

The show was very smart with contrasting colours tbh. It would’ve been very generic to make Bloom red or orange with her fire power but the blue makes her fire powers stand out. Same with flora’s pink outfit and green powers. Really well thought off.

Actually, Stella in blue would make sense) She’s technically the fairy of light, but her power always focuses on the sun, whilst here she totally looks like a moon fairy) The other swaps also look kinda logical: Bloom is orange because flames are orange, Flora in green because plants are mostly green, and Aisha is kinda the fairy of fluids? Her morphix is pink, so her costume is, too) And, yep, they all look gorgeous) Good job!👏

My thoughts for each: For Bloom's colour swap, orange being a prevalent colour in her scheme is a bit underwhelming, kinda looking like orange vomited all over the place to be honest. It doesn't help that her hair is orange as well. The blue parts of her scheme are kinda nice though. Stella's blue scheme looks nice though it can be a bit underwhelming. However, I do refer to it as something she would look like if she was more in tune with her moon powers rather than her sun powers. I'm surprised that you didn't use the small parts of yellow from Bloom's original colour scheme like how you used blue from Stella's scheme for Bloom's armlet thingies. Flora looks stunning in green despite it just being most of her scheme. It fits her powers as the Fairy of Nature. Her wings look nice too, like a traditional fairy's usual light blue and transparent wings. Aisha's colour scheme is amazing. The pink and green work so well together honestly. The only downside is that it kinda doesn't fit with her personality despite her powers being pink or it's probably just me. Musa... Oh god... I'm sorry, her having Tecna's colour scheme looks awful. That shade of purple and the greens is just not for her. I can't say much about it honestly. And lastly, Tecna's colour scheme is pretty nice honestly. The red clothing with the blue laser cage-like wings is great. She honestly reminds me of a cherry. You and the others mentioned in the description worked hard on this and I appreciate it! I wonder if there is more of this in the future. The remix is amazing too!

That was really fun! And the video is so well edited!! Great job! 👏I lLOVE studying color theory and character design, so here's a little insight on why these worked / didn't for each character: The best outfit swaps are Aisha and Flora's! 🏆 Stella and Techna take the silver medal. Flora looks GLAMOROUS in a green dress and way more mature. I still love pink for her, but with green she evolves from flower fairy into Mother Nature herself. It was already in her color scheme, so it suits her. For Aisha, Pink was already in her color scheme too, so it looks amazing on her - and it doesn't give her less of a daring vibe because contrary to Flora's soft ones, she got bold shapes to her outfit + wings that give off she's agressive and bold. Stella's outfit COULD work: same principle as Aisha's and Flora - Stella already had blue to her color scheme. Blue and yellow are a perfect combo - it gives the feeling of sky and beach, which complements her powers! All that was missing were different color accents to her outfit: all blue is underwhealming. Probably gonna be underrated in the comments, but Techna's hair color looked really good with this red outfit and blue wings, and I liked it better than her original purple one. Red is an agressive, bold color, made her stand out with the amount of 'power' she radiated - it fits her personality and poses the most. Now for the why the others don't work out as nicely: What makes Bloom stand out with her flaming red hair, is contrast / opposite colors- and it makes sense the main character to have it the most to stand out to our eye. That means for her main outfit, she always needs a bit of blue, and green would have looked really nice too. That is kinda lost with the orange, since it makes her feel washed out. Musa: This is a hard one. I don't think it was the colors themselves, but her saturated midnight blue hair. The light, fadey pastel purple and blue (or any other pastel color) just did NOT go well with it. I'm still learning and I might be biased, so lemme kno what you think!

It could be also good for the reboot cause Bloom has now Stella magic winx outfit while Stella has Bloom magic winx outfit. If the reboot was having some kind a reverse things like Tecna being the MC instead of Bloom ,it would be a good idea
