With land as old as yours, there must be all kinds of hidden clues as to what has happened over the years. I hope you and your family have many happy adventures finding those treasures. Oh my gosh, I am so excited! On both counts. Information on the house or the people who lived in it is very exciting and being avid collector of stones. I’m really anxious to see what you find. Thank you so much for sharing. Hope Nick comes home soon. However I really enjoy them at Ryan’s too. I’m torn. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the graveyard and what you find I’m heading that way this summer and would like to dip into France as I will be in Germany. I have family from Germany, France, and then over and Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Unfortunately won’t be going that direction this time. Grace is looking so much better. I love history and genealogy! I am sure you will share the history of the house, original owners and how it was passed down. And what their occupation was if they worked. And the trials and tribulations each family had to endure and maybe some unfortunate losses of family, such as the Black Death and diseases back then. Beautiful video!

Wish I was there to explore with you, I love History and discovery. Oskar is so much like his Dad. Love the way little ones go from sitting to standing in one fluid motion, if only I still could. Glad you have loaned out Nick to help Ryan. Ryan needs that push, alone it will take him years to complete the project. I am jealous seeing you out in the sun, please send some towards the UK before we become completely waterlogged, no suntan just rust.

Generally the Church will have Records of the family. (Like marriage, baptism, sometimes birth). So you might check there.

Wow that’s really interesting I can’t wait to find the stones, I know you must be really tired most of the time with the horses the house and the kids but this is a glorious time of your life, I hope you aren’t too tired to enjoy it to the fullest, Id go back to those little kiddy days in a flash and work less and play more 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ we do what we think what’s right at the time don’t we ? Can you tell us how you found the map? That is absolutely spectacular. Also maybe a little bit about the 'big' house. Is it still there? Ancestry hunting can be very frustrating, especially in a foreign language and when they are not part of your family. Looks like a great start was made.
