This demonstration used a number of techniques although nothing was complicated. I like how you shaved the high parts then reapplied some to the surface, subtly changing the visual texture, very much like natural stone. Very nice.

The mica shift didn't show on camera very well, until you got the pieces baked and resined. Then they really popped! There's also kind of a sparkly glitter effect, so maybe some of the mica flakes in the Cernit are really large? I don't get that same effect from Premo. These came out looking really cool.

You are very right. I love the effect of metallic Cernit , but Sculpey metallic looks nice too. I have to think about new camera and light for making my videos...

Second question, I'm planning to copy your technique to make a mosaic effect house number plate will the finished result be weatherproof? Thanks x

1) I make the holes after baking and putting resin using mini drill. 2) If you will put resin your house nombre will very firmly. Thank you so much 😊
