Beautifully done (except for the one incorrect reference to Brick-el). I am a lifetime resident of Miami-Dade County and a historian have visited and enjoyed Vizcaya numerous times since I was in elementary school (I’m now 71). I’d love to learn more about your reference to Flagler and FEC tracks coming to Vizcaya. Can you find any photos, paperwork, or documentation?

Hi! While the sources used for this video (included in the description) touched on Flagler only briefly, I came across much more extensive information on him and his rail line (including his ill-fated attempt to run one across the Keys) while researching my video on the Florida Everglades. Marjory Stoneman Douglas' "The Everglades: River of Grass" and Michael Grunwald's "The Swamp: The Everglades, Florida, and the Politics of Paradise" were essential reading for that video, and I found an 1896 image of a Miami passenger train in an article covering the topic via Florida History Network: www.floridahistorynetwork.com/april-15-1896---henry-flaglers-railroad-arrives-in-miami-for-first-time.html Hope this helps!

Thanks! I love Vizcaya Museum. It was so nice to see it again in this well-done video. Just one thing to correct: Diego Suarez born in Colombia, not Columbia (#ItsColombiaNotColumbia). As Colombian I find this misspelling every time.
