Wow! The Vizcaya Museum and gardens are so beautiful! It was so funny when you mentioned the Biltmore because I was thinking to myself that it reminds me a lot of the Biltmore too! Awsome!! I just recently moved from Miami to here outside of Orlando, and worked for miami-dade parks and recreation in crandon Park which you could see directly across from the back terrace of viscaya across the bay there ! And used to do kayak tours along the mangroves there also ( eco adventures) , I hope you got to go the Derring estate down off of old cutler road? It was another one of his houses that miami-dade parks oversees , in which we also do eco adventures from as well! There's nature walks, kayaking, bike tours, snorkeling, and boat tours . I used to drive the tour tram in crandon, which has alot of history in itself. Well enough about me ! LOL 😂 GREAT VIDEO as always! And I hope you don't live too far away soo that you could come back and see crandon park and key biscayne, and the Derringer estate ! It's a really pretty ride thru coconut Grove! 😊

@@wildflowersadventures here's a funny/sad story about an experience at Vizcaya in the late 80s. i had a charter to pick up newlyweds from there at midnight and take them to the Marriott hotel. huge reception, well other 100k spent to throw it. hundreds of people there. the groom was a bit drunk and thought it would be cool to carry the bride over the gunwale, against are begging him not too. well, he dropped her on the deck like a tuna!!! needless to say, the wedding and marriage was over that night. my wife to be my mate that night and on occasions bring that up

Oh yes!! You have so much more of these beautiful buildings. They are not common here in the US. And yes, this was Jadyn’s choice for her birthday celebration. We came here a few years ago and she loved it so much that she chose to visit again!
