Im so excited. I have 3 characters in mind (because I couldn’t make up my mind). I haven’t fleshed out the full details but these three met at the entrance of the Novice Path . Or shall I say Mei (an extrovert) forcefully adopted Alexei and Nano (introverts) by wrapping her arms over their shoulders at the gate of the novice path saying, “Well this is gonna be fun!” Alexei gave a shy smile while Nano just glared at her wondering if she got dropped on the head as a child. Nano took two fingers and removed her warm hand from his shoulder and took a step away from the fire haired girl placing his gaze on the path ahead. Mei laughed and squeezed Alexei’s neck pinning his head and shuffling his hair. “We’re gonna be the best of friends.” Mei said as she slapped Nano across the back. Nano, arms crossed in front of his chest, turned his head slowly locking a cold gaze upon her eyes. Mei flashed a large smile at him……. (to be continued).

I really liked Ninth House. I think some people were disappointed because it has ghosts, which I've always preferred anyway. And it does take a bit before you actually get into it. I'm holding off on my character for now. 1) because I have five different characters at the moment and I don't know which one I want; and 2) I've been reading a little slower recently; if I get the minimum for the novice path, I will consider that a success.

I loved Ninth House, i understand most of the critiques but it gave me everything I wanted from it. The vibes, the backstory, the mystery and the dark themes - it was 5/5 for me. I get why a lot were disappointed but reading's subjective and almost every book has an audience for it. I hope you get the enjoyment I did, if you do pick it up. If you don't, I hope something else in this TBR ends up being your 5/5 read!

I think it'll be twice a year, April and August, and you can do the character building on the prompt-free months - you just want to have your character ready to start University in April!
