MAGICAL TRAILS IN CHAMONIX I UTMB Preparation

This is the last stretch towards UTMB. The last training sessions with considerable elevation gain. The big day is nearing. I am anxious, nervous and excited. In this film I take you on four runs around Chamonix which are part of my UTMB training. I also share my feelings and thoughts in the run up to the big event.

Bon Courage! 🏃‍♂️ Great video, looking forward to see the race video, will follow you on UTMB live tracker 👍 I also noticed in Chamonix a lot of runners don't acknowledge if you say hi, also anywhere within 500m of a lift or a car park it is the same 🤷‍♂️ I try to avoid the popular easy access areas and stick to the quieter trails, especially at weekends.

Such a joy to be on those trails, soaking in as you said. I was lucky to be doing OCC in 2016, still remember those memories. Wish to go back one day. Best wishes for race day and with no pressure. Work is done and ready to immerse.

@@rafaelhidalgo it's a big commitment to toe that start line. My longest distance so far is 100km as a team of 4 when I did Oxfam Trail walker in late 2015. Since then I have done other races but max 50km, I still have the feeling that I want to accomplish something big on my own (if wife allows me, hehe) maybe one day it comes. My respect to those like you who dream big and try to accomplish such a big feat. All my support! Vamosss! 💪🏻💪🏻
