This season of Coke Studio and this song especially means a lot to Pakistan. We as a nation and as a country are deeply hurt and wounded from inside by what the West has been portraying about us for the past so many years. Xulfi and his team have taken up the challenge to bring Pakistan back into the limelight through music so that the whole world can experience our culture and realize that we're not bad people. If someone will take one step towards us, we'll go two steps towards them. I commend Xulfi and his entire team for giving this world a phenomenal season of Coke Studio which will be the PLATINUM SEASON in all the seasons so far. Its an international song for sure, seven languages in it Urdu, Gujrati, Balochi, English, Arabic, Farsi and Norwagain; First vocalist Chiragh is of Indian Gurati background, and one singing in Araic is of Egyptian background they both are part of band called Karpe from Norway, gal is of Iranian background (thus farsi) but from Norway as well as Quick style is also from Norway with multiple ethnicities in group and founding members from Pakistani background. While Kaifi Khalil is Pakistani with Baloch ethnicity.You should check out magcal journey videos, they are v interesting.
