Interestingly, the Lovecraft naming isn’t limited to just Az Atorse/Azathoth. In the Japanese manual, three other bosses are named-Ithaqua (1), Dagon (3), and Shudde M’Ell (6).

I love how bad the dialogue sets up how intimidating the bosses are, but when you finally get to them, all of them look genuinely disturbing to look at. It's almost poetry.

"That power, is completely useless when faced against us!" "Such a stubborn man... But this is the end!" "Just think of yourself as lucky for having made it this far!" "You are far too dangerous. Die!" "So, you have finally come. I'll be taking your life now!" (yes, that purple thing that looks like Nyarlathotep is, in fact, Gal Agiese in his demonic form.)

Here's what I think Alpha Denshi should have done when they adjusted "Magician Lord" for English speakers: they should have maintained Gal Agiese speaking in Japanese; and translating his lines through text.

@Formosusll Even if the English voice actors mentioned that there were dialogue errors in their script, there is a high probability that the Japanese manager still would not care. You see, unfortunately, most Japanese companies do not value the proper study of English as a language, and thus they do not take English's grammar seriously. This is why in modern day Japan, there are still a majority of misspelled English words and incorrect English grammar still used in Japanese marketing.
