@@omegafawful2437 funny, I was just listening to this :D. It did age horribly yes! However, I cannot fault the remake for the OST. They had copyright/license issues so they physically couldn’t use the OG soundtrack or remakes of it! For what they made though, I think the Remake OST is pretty good! It’s got a few strings which are reminiscent of the old OST. I feel sad about the Magicians theme, but you can tell they are frustrated and wanted the original theme based on how the new one sounds.

I planned to release the whole saga but buying the rights the music, buying a publisher and putting on the stores would cost me over $1,000+ dollars and that I don’t have 😕

Well the remake's version was screwed due to copyright issues sadly. I don't think this should be the reason we hate the remake though, it does not deserve it.

@@l2EVENGER Oh no don't be mistaken the music is not the reason I hate the remake. I hate it because of how much they nerfed the shit out of the bosses, which is especially apparent with the magician, Ok I get how they needed to do it for the Nintendo but like. They practically just ported the Nintendo version on Steam and didn't change anything. It takes the thrill out of fighting the bosses on PC, the new music just makes it worse.

Surprisingly, I had more trouble with the first magician than the second one. I think because the Model2Emu doesn’t let you shoot frame1 after reloading. But in general this Magician let’s you demolish him at the end of his attack

I’m glad you like it, but you gotta give credit to the composer of the Remake. The devs couldn’t use the original music, so they had to recreate everything all thanks to legal problems. So let’s be thankful that we hav met music and a brand new game 😃

I just heard the remake and I do like the remake magician song just not as much as the original. How you made your version would have fitted better than the one they planned. Still a good game though.

That main menu song is very groovy, but you should know that in the game’s files, there is a hidden Attract song that resembles the original one.

You could say that, hahaha. I use all MIDI instruments for my music, but make sure to make it sound as authentic as possible. Thankfully, Native Instruments has amazing sounds and synths that make the job easier for me! 😃

In the description is a playlist for HOD2 Remastered, as well as inside the channel, I left playlists of my FULL library of all my mixes. EVERY song you hear in a playthrough is there. Most of the missing songs are from menus and stuff
