I think that his theme is the best compared to all the other scary/menacing final boss themes of HOTD series because his robust theme makes the protagonist feel as powerful as he is. After the protagonist beat all the monsters, it makes the player feel that he can overcome anything and this boss is the last and final test before the game ends. Haven’t played the first game but damn I wish I could!

They could have easily put the Magician into Overkill! Have Clement infect Papa Caesar with Compound X, which makes him transform into a prototype Magician! Or have Clement infect himself as a last-ditch act of vengeance after you defeat Mother, and have the Magician be the actual final boss!

Well Curien , become the Wheel of fate , how would def Magician pretty easily most likely . So it wasn't all that bad for him . Ofc Magician can have the potential to become the Devil if they go that rout but that is a hole other can of worms .

Magician should return for the potential final game (at least as far as the tarot cards go ) and become the Devil type 666 . He have the looks he could transform , it would come full circle , it started with him , it will end with him . Or at least have the last human villain the old man forgot his name , take over Magician body and become the Devil in a trasformation at least .
