I have this ritual that I do with cash I have in my wallet that I've been given for this reason or that: I count each bill (regardless of the actual value) as $10k. I "see" each bill as $10k and thank it and enjoy the feel of it in my hand, and when I'm through all of the bills, I thank them and tell them I love them. Hello Deborah. Thank You for your reading. Perhaps I should take more time to think about my beliefs & get my Mind & Heart alighened (I thought they were) & re write my story. I do not believe you have to work hard for $$$ necessarily. It depends on what you want to do. There will bd hard days no matter what that is, passionate or not. Just working for workings sake never made my ends meet, nor was it ever something I wanted to commit to, like a passion. I've done Retail, Grocery, Nursing Home & Housekeeping/ Fast Food, & Factory work & Seasonal Workchopping Cotton in AZ& Fruits & Veggies in FL. I never fit in to that mold & could only deal w/ it temp. bc It wasn't for me & paid peanuts for Labor. Creatives Are Free Spirit's. They don't want to be told they have to be stuck in one place all day, or not be able to get a drink or look out the window or go to the bathroom or take a break when needed. They don't want to be told what to do or how to do it, unless they ask or are training/ learning. I also do not like to be relied upon for certain things when others can do things themselves, bc it can lead to dependency & be enabling, which isn't favorable for either party. I used to be a caretaker, but I fit that into the fact that I was married w/a child & a woman, but it got worse over time bc I let it go too far w/the wrong people. I had to learn to Just Take Care Of Me & Love Myself More & I had to get away from toxic people 1st. It was gradual learning & stopping, one step up & 3 steps back for a time bc there was always another toxic individual coming into my life unbeknownst to me. I learned to be alone & deal w/it & look for Red Flags. Things are better now, on that count, but I'm still working on other things- finances, personal, etc. I'm 64 & I don't know how much time I have left, but I'm hopeful that it is enough to experience what life should be like for a Good Hearted Empath. I hear you, grew up without money, we were not poor but did not have any, never had any allowance, was very envious of my school friends who could buy sweets etc. Never had any birthday parties, my parents cared little. Was brought up to be someones wife, with that mentality, my parents were odd, old fashioned whilst my siblings were given opportunities I could only dream about. Crippling shyness did not help, and still to this day I am having a hard time breaking the mold. Still behind those invisible bars. Also, was not allowed to outshine my mother, she still do all she can to minimise me and this too I am working on breaking. Never did I realise being human was going to be so tricky. Do not feel like a victim, just observing. Would love to be a millionaire and live a life in freedom. How cool is that! Thank you so much for the reading... I grew up poor, but we always had enough to get by. What made me more cautious and aware of money was because my Dad died when us kids were young and my Mom, who had been a traditional housewife, was all of a sudden thrown into the workplace. So keeping that in mind as I grew up I was much better than the average person on managing money. So we now have more than enough... I still worry about it as costs keep rising, but as my Mother always said... You have a great artistic talent honey and if you ever need to make extra money you can always fall back on that. So yup! As I enter into retirement and in the last 10 years or so... I have been honing my talents to sell my works... Call my talent God given or just natural ability(with lots of practice). My goodnesses! Spot on as always, err except for the things to come which I Claim This Message! I also think 'abundance' can mean So so many things, not just dollars but other types of abundance. Abundance in Love, Family, Friendships, or even items one enjoys collecting. In one yr's time I went from having 1 artist rendered reborn doll to having something like 15, half of them gifted to me by lovely amazing doll collectors whom I've made connections with in a short period of time (1 yr). Last yr I didn't know Anyone in the doll community & didn't have any friends; now I'm abundant in friendships, love & dolls! Which these are Not Cheap. These dolls go from 150$ (US dollars) - 3K$ (and more). I think my most expensive doll I have was $500 (US dollars). Let's just say each artist rendered doll I have was worth 200$....times that by 15 or so dolls? A LOT of money has gone into my collection but again I say over half of them were gifted to me and the rest I bought. That's just ONE example how one can be abundant in something they collect.
