While not released in 2022, it was my favorite discovery in 2022: Phedon Bilek's Orion books. I'll be reading and re-reading these two volumes for years to come! This is mind melting mentalism at it's best; thanks to you for this as your review helped pique my interest! Thanks also for your list David; I love all but one of these as well.

Great List; thanks so much. This year my favorite magic offering was Eric Samuels' book SETTING The STAGE. Such a great, inciteful and delightful read that I didn't want it to end. He had me rethinking my approach to numerous routines in my set!

DD's Blizzard is what got me into magic in a serious way. The realization that I could get away with such an impossibly bold move in full view of spectators changed the way I looked at everything, not just the importance of misdirection.

I totally agree with Past/Present/Future. This is something I've been waiting for years to come back in stock, and it did not disappoint when I finally got it this year! ;) I also got Orphic, but still did not use it in a gig.

Mine was Past,Present,Future by Rick Lax. But I'm kinda biased because it's the only one in the list I have! I bought the older version when it first came out. Same trick, slightly different looking cards. It's an absolute killer! Every time I've shown this, it's blown minds. Thank you David for the review, and Happy New Year!!!! Take care my brother.

I'm getting an Orphic wallet. Would you go for the plus? I would normally go for the smaller one for EDC, but if that extra centimeter in the plus is a major improvement for handling playing cards, I'd go that way. Thoughts?

Great list. Are you going to do the Worst tricks of the year? Also I wish someone would review the Hocus-Pocus Comic book series by Richard Wiseman. Is a great little read and teaches you tricks, history & has some great art. 5th and final issue was released late 2022

I actually have to do voodoo because it reminds of yellow phone by Daniel garcia. I have one setup on phone and other in my wallet. I haven't heard nobody mention to do voodoo in their top ten though. An honest list is better to me than a popular one.
