Great review as always. We are about the same age, I think you forgot to mention Doug Henning? Those of us who has long hair loved that hippie Magician!

Hi David, excellent review! I am 20 years older then you and also vividly remember the Amazing Kreskin and Uri Geller on the TV as well. Both inspired me into mentalism 50 years ago! Thank you for your excellent reviews every day! Your friend, David

I purchased the Money Goblet when it first was released for the reasons you mentioned - Jeff and Jeff. In addition to being a great magician Jeff McBride is a true gentleman and accessible if you have any questions about the routines. Definitely a must have if you perform coin magic. Thank you for another outstanding review. ED

I’ve been using the Money Goblet for more than a year, since purchasing it pre-release. I can attest that it works for adults, children and family audiences. It fools older kids, even Cub Scouts, who know about the bucket method. It works in parlor, stage, street and trade show situations, because I’ve used it in all of them. I use it in every show. I don’t know that I’d use it for close-up and definitely not for strolling or restaurant work. Hope this helps.

Also, in addition to being able to buy an additional, ungimmicked goblet, you can mix and match the color (gold or silver tone) and number of coins that you buy. That’s an additional cost; but it’s useful for the working pro.

The goblet is great. If folks are interested in this type of magic they should also check out the Rune Clan Vanishing Inc. Master Class. He has a take on this using more ordinary looking props that is also worth studying.

Looks fun. I dont do much with coins but I always liked miser’s dream. I do a silent sponge balls without patter and I love silent magic. I’m too much of a chatty Kathy to do a lot of it tho. lol.

“It works like a Miser’s Dream bucket.”No, it doesn’t. It’s a fundamentally different method. The bucket requires a LOT of coins, and at least one large load. The Money Goblet does not. The bucket requires you usually to produce the coins from one hand only. You’re virtually chained to the bucket. The Money Goblet allows complete freedom to switch hands, which makes it much more deceptive. If you run out of coins, the bucket requires either a mechanical load from inside the bucket or body loads. The Money Goblet doesn’t. Your reviews are usually so accurate; I was surprised by this major mistake.
