Mac & Cheese | Magimix Cook Expert Cookalong
For those who missed our FACEBOOK LIVE last night, cook along with Vanessa in real time as she makes a delicious Mac and Cheese dish using her Magimix Cook Expert.
Ingredients:
500ml Milk
50g plain flour
50g butter
Salt & Pepper
1 ½ cups tasty, grated
½ cup parmesan, grated
400g Macaroni
Additions (optional):
Grated carrot & Zucchini
Diced BBQ Chicken, Cubed roast pumpkin & baby spinach, plus extra cheese to melt on top (my personal favourite)
Be as creative as you want with this very easy & simple base. Add Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, any flavouring of your choice.
METHOD:
Fit the 2mm grating blade on to the midi bowl. Grate carrot and zucchini. Set aside.
Fit 4mm grater on to the main bowl. Grate cheese. Set aside.
Fit stainless steel bowl onto the base.
Add milk, flour, butter, salt and pepper into the stainless steel bowl. EXPERT 9mins/4/95 degrees C.
When finished, add grated cheese, zucchini and carrot into sauce. If you have added more vegetables, add them at this stage as well. Gently fold in cooked macaroni pasta.
Serve!
Optional: Place on baking dish, top with extra cheese and bake on 190 for 15 minutes.
