I am relieved Magistus is getting the support it deserves. It was overshadowed by the two other themes released alongside them - Drytron and Evil Twins. They were a lore archetype with an interesting gimmick. I’m glad the two new cards we got improved tne deck’s consistency. And I hope we are fortunate enough to get more.

An orcustrated babel like field spell that makes the magistus equips quick effects would be sick. You could search, imperm, and mst on your opponents turn.

Invoked and witchcrafter have now gotten confirmed support through Magistus and Endymion propably aswell so i think it's not to unlikely Spellbook will also get some

Chorozo is good for the reasons you said and we are getting more and more monsters in spell and trap zone too so it will only get better and wiill surely enable a few combos. Chorozo's effects are ok but it seems easy to play around and poses little threat. Spoon is solid, both effects are good. The halfing ATK (board breaking/negate consuming) is a decent consolation and lastly the GY banish is a solid effect. Many decks already splash the magistus engine and they simply got better.

A middle period Endymion would be nice Make him a pendulum monster who can collect spell counters and negate a spell But he can count other monsters in the spell/trap zone towards his counters for his ability Id make him a lvl6 water 2200 atk As long as he has 2 or more spell counters he cannot be targeted or destroyed by the opponents card effects He gains a spell counter each time a spell is activated or a monster is equipped to a monster you control Remove 2 spell counters from the field to negate and destroy a spell

Funny thing about endymion too is I use spell power mastery to search the magistus endymion to start plays. The archetypes actually flow nicely

1st and foremost they need a field spell that does 3 things: 1 searches and magitus card. 2 protection from monster effects while they're equipped and 3 is able to equip something from EF or GY. The next thing is an extender. They need to be able to get another body on the field to overlay or synchro and a 3rd card could be a starter or extender to grab another body from the GY or banished to the field. Unfortunately they have 1 and if that gets outted, they die easily

@lixinommies I wouldn't say it's OP. These are things the deck needs in order to function. The search is good, protection when they have something equipped and the 3rd tp equip something so 1 handtrap doesn't stop you dead in your tracks

It would be really cool. I'm positive they'll have a trap card at some point that fills one of these roles since rillona searches magistus spell/traps.

@danielthorpe5539 I feel if they're gonna get a trap, it should summon 2 bodies from the GY and either synchro or xyz summon. Naturally, this deck is gonna get something like 8-10 cards in total, so as long as the cards we get make the deck cohesive and able to get to a decent end board, then it's fine.

Wait, it took me this long to realize they are really printing support for each of the archetypes presented as "slides" in the Chronicles thing. We had Diabellstar lore support, Fire Kings, then Atlanteans, now Magistus... does that mean we will get extra Dragon Rulers and Visas stuff? Who knows Chorozo is kinda funny, I think White Woods Runick might find something to do with it. Even CEntur-ion can make it in case they need a lv4 tuner but Primera is locked or whatever bs scenario, it would be funny tho

Really looking forward to this Deck. Love all the Archetypes associated with its lore. Hope one day Konomi sorta bridges the gap between them so i can play them all together lol. Kinda like Despia,Albaz etc....

Spoon also has the added wonderful effect of making it so you have a target in GY to revive with Zoroa.

The reborn spell already do that, and varaam protect the equipped monster from s/t destruction effect

Magistus is seeing play as a Rank-4 engine in the OCG for mainly Ryzeal after the release of Spoon. Cant wait to see what else they get - hoping for a new Crowley Link and another Synchro!
