QUESTION: In case I use VST plugins for an Instrument : Guitar effects for example, how can I limit my effect to only one Chanel and not to the whole mix?

click on the audio you want to add the effect only. If you have multiple you want the same effect on click the audio and then ctrl button and continue clicking on the rest of the audio track you want the effect on to highlight them and then add the effect you want to use. Hope this helps.

When using the FX on the Alesis mixer, does it also get recorded or does it just record the dry signal?

i actually found out recently that it has a similar yet different glitch within windows 10 as well instead of the hiss when on the playback within music maker no issue but if your gain an volume arent just right on the export it has the hiss... alesis never responded to my tech support ticket either to determine if the mixer was defective or not....considering a return/replacement before the warranty expires to see if it makes a difference or not as well. will be uploading more tutorials in near future on the dedicated tutorial channel. - MMMTUTORIALS - kzbin.info/door/mw8920f1wFJg0b3DX67BOw Thank you for commenting please dont forget to subscribe to this link above for the latest tutorials on music maker an more.

Hi, Please help. In the Alesis MultiMix 8 USB FX 1. How & can i record the final mix with all effects( eq, reverb, delay etc ) to PC via the USB? 2. How can i use the final mix with all effects( eq, reverb, delay etc ) to zoom meeting via the USB? 3. How many separate tracks does it record to via the USB to PC? 4. Can we apply multiple effects( delay/chorus etc) for each channel at the same time. Thanks.

unfortunately you only record one track with however many inputs you have the only way to get multiple track recordings is to record each part separately, im not sure about using the effect into a zoom meeting ive never used it that way before. an i dont believe you can do multiple effects at the same time unfortunately at least i havent been able to do it....i tried to reach out to alesis for some tech issues with the mixer myself an never got a response from them. hope this lil bit of info helps you sorry i cant be of more help on this but i will see if i can find out more for you.

it will work with windows 10.... but music maker 2021 works better than the 2020 version because its upgraded to the 64x bit system compared to the 32x bit system of previous versions
