If only we could all learn in our sleep! Lol However, to speak to Tsveta's comment, this is far from a learned routine. There are many moments of surprise & creativity that are only possible in free flow and improvisation, as this dance is. For sure, Marco is phenomenal dancer and highly trained but this dance is far from rehearsed and I'm certain far from anything he's "learned." in fact, most of my dances force the lead to break the routine and adapt what they know to the present moment. Basically, you both are right. He didn't learn in his sleep and this is not a learned routine. 😊

Hello Magna l always enjoy watching your dance. I keep coming back to this vid. I like the playfulness and spontaneity. I see Ferrigno's salsa and l can see some ballet/jazz influence there. It gives him a great posture and control. Moreover, he reminds me of Chayanne in the film "Dance with me" with the guaguanco steps and the fun he puts to the dance. I always enjoy your footwork, Magna. I moved to ATL so hopefully you'll come this way one day.

My first time seeing Marco dance... very creative! Basically every second of this video showcases Magna's genius. My favorite parts are her dancing to the guitar. Some of the steps she creates are totally mind-boggling

Thank you, Aeshini!! I do my best. As for my partner, he was vibing, adapting and playing with me. My movements found a lot of inspiration in what he did. I just adapted them to what I heard differently than him. 😊

For sure it gets messy here and there but the fun, the connection, the musicality, the smiles, laughter and hug at the end are the real beauty of any social dance. Perfectly executed, yet lacking all the rest, might be "pretty", but only superficially. At least to me. 😊

Lol I kind of enjoyed that. He's definitely far more experienced and technically trained than I am. I liked the challenge of incorporating and adapting his moves into my own expression and also playfully highlighting when I couldn't do the same. At the end of the day, it's all fun for me. 😊

Hi again! 😊 Thanks for the support. As for the lead, I think this might have been one of our first dances ever. We were both figuring each other out. Sometimes the lead might have been confusing and sometimes I might have missed the cue. He's actually quite a smooth lead :)
