being about baxter's age, slash was/is my BIGGEST guitar hero! I don't care if there are more technically skilled players, the soul he way he plays with is absolutely amazing! I have no need whatsoever for a 100w amp (15w is more than I really need!), but i might need to save up for one of these signatures, or at least a modern magnatone, to go with my vintage 410!!

slash has a huge connection to the younger generations too because of the Guitar Hero franchise. honestly was the reason that 7 year old me picked up guitar in the first place lol

Richard’s dad was a partner with the Kornblum’s in St. Louis Music or SLM a thousand years ago, so he’s known the Magnatone folks since he’s a baby child.

-8.8db according to stats for nerds. I believe youtube compresses down above -14db but doesn't raise below that. In premiere I typically aim between -3db and 0db and stay very near youtube's -14db. If I ever travel to these parts again, I hope to be able to hear your conversations about the slash magnatone coming out. Fair thee well, gentlemen.

I have always loved Slash's work on his "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" solo album and Velvet Revolver albums. I played his second Marshall Signature and thought it was fantastic but never bought one. Magnatone Amps is a solid transition. Great amps. So congratulations to Slash.

I have a Magnatone Starlite amp that I bought through Sweetwater. It is a great recording amp and takes pedals great. One of these days I am going to try my Esteban through it. Have to use a mic but what the hell.

I wonder what the future holds for Marshall, this obviously seems like a big blow to their credibility even though Slash hasn't left Marshall. I hope this is a wakeup call and Marshall gets their fire back, but Magnatone doesn't seem to be leaving much to be desired....

the money they want for that amp is a slap to guitarist everywhere, my John Petrucci Mesa and my Yngwie Marshall are way better and cost far less money thta this one channel crappy amp!

Slash is VERY VERY overated! We can sum up one album- AFD! I very weak imposter of JoePerry and Brad Whitford ! I dont care if he switched to crate amps and really o believe alot of us feel yhat way! Marshall like Gibson living on glory days! Where can i play 100 watt head in my city? Seriously!!! And dont get me started on the 1500 dollar epiphones in essence their making their own Chibsons puke puke and puke again.
