Magnetawan River Six Day Backcountry Canoe Trip - The Thirty Dollar Loop. This video is Part Three of my six day canoe trip in Magnetawan River Provincial Park.
It was mid July and I set out on a six day canoe trip in Magnetawan River Provincial Park. I was tripping with my son Noah and two friends, Derek and Jeff through this beautiful wilderness area.
Our canoe route would be to slow travel, starting at Harris Lake and paddling through the South Magnetawan, Timber Wolf Lake, the Magnetawan River and Island Lake. Our trip was planned to provide days of epic fishing and to also check out the scenic Thirty Dollar Rapids.
I really enjoyed slow travelling through the park because it gave me time to focus on photography and video while taking in this amazing Ontario Provincial Park.

Hi Jason, just got your channel suggested by Simon a bloke in the woods. I was watching his canoe paddle video, and he shared your knowledge of canoe making.. wow is all I have to say!!! Haven’t watched this series yet, currently watching your Algonquin 7 day solo trip along with your cabin on wheels etc. You are truly talented in all aspects. Stayed up until 4 am last night, and binge watching as we speak. Thank you 🙏🏻 What a treat to enjoy all your videos Much luck and continued success

We owned property near the Thirties. Affectionately called the Thirty portage the Trails of Tears. Up, down, way up, way down...😢 Yup, that last section is B-R-U-T-A-L in and out of the water.

Lol. No but walking a canoe into a tree half way through a long portage and it might as well have been. Thanks for the comment
