Mam at 26:05 you said that we are relating mass of one atom of hydrogen which the mass of one atom of c-12 isotope, but this isn't true. Mass of one atom of c-12 isotope is 1.992*10^-23 grams. But you have written 1.66*10^-24 grams, which is the mass of "1/12th" part of the mass of one atom of c-12 isotope,(i.e. 1/12 * 1.992*10^-23 grams).

In this consept we able to know atomic mass of any element indicate the number of times one atom of an element is heavier than ½ of a C - 12 atom... For example - atomic mass of magnesium is 24 u , which means that one atom of magnesium is 24 times heavier than ½ of a C-12 atom... But the actual mass of the magnesium is 3.9852*10^-23 So this consept is given...

Twinkle, we are not really dividing the atom. WE are just taking mass of atom and dividing it using numbers.And calculating the estimate.
@joshuagomez59523 жыл бұрын
This way we will get a standard reference and compare other atoms

Mam you are saying that if we want to know the atomic mass so we should take the atom's mass and compare it with the standard element here standard element is carbon we don't know the mass of atom so how we compare it to standard For example I want to know the atomic mass of oxygen here I don't know it's mass so how can I compare it to carbon- 12?????????🤔🤔🤔
