In the mid-1980s, our library had a 16mm film library. One short film was called "A". It was done in pen and ink, very sparse details in the animation. The plot goes as follows. A man comes home to his apartment and while going about his tasks, he is harassed by a large capital letter A. At the end of the film, the A disappears, the man is relieved. But, just as the film fades out, the letter B appears. I would love to find out more about the film. The library has long since gotten rid of its films and doesn't have records of what was in the collection. Thanks!

I love it! In a perfect world, what would there be to ignite your heart, your passion? We need a bit of imperfect to show us that we are still alive! We need to know there is something worth getting a black eye, and falling into the refuse bin for. That’s what makes our lives interesting. A perfect world would be boring and become, as our protagonist demonstrates, no excitement, no awe inspiring events.
@joeytofil22592 жыл бұрын
Exactly, it would be a world at baseline, all the time. Joy and pain cannot exist without one another in the same reality. It's only called Day because Night also exists. I think Berty did care for him and wish him to be happy, he realizes that that woman is unpredictable and potentially dangerous, and values freedom at the expense of safety. He doesn't realize, however, that that's what makes life exciting!
