Magnetic Action Camera Mount with Safety Lanyard

I mounted my Action 4 onto a tiny tripod and placed it on the dashboard of my car. I was able to position my camera so that my car body is complete out of the frame. My tiny tripod has rubber feet so it stayed put on my dashboard.

A mini tripod is a great option.

Thank you. Do have any ideas for a good suction cup mounts for none magnetic cars?

I've never used suction cup mounts on the outside of a vehicle. I have used them on the inside of windshields.
