Hello Yuri! Good news! I picked up it :D Thanks! I have a powermeter and did a short test in 1 min -> on middle level, rpm=80, power=~210w, without it -> power =~120w. (gear:50,14)Definitely works it. I will do my training harder on winter season :D Great! I will do a more precise test and share with you.

Oh, that's great! They asked me about power. I think this should be similar to this: www.minoura.jp/english/trainer/hybridroller/fg542.html

It will be interesting to compare with fg542: m.redbeankingdom.xyz/web/upload/NNEditor/20190215/fg542_img1.jpg

I need to replace my cycleops rollers with resistance, is this the best set up you've found?
@kevinative2 жыл бұрын
@@MsLuminescence yes as far as not swinging for the fence and buying smart rollers. The width of a boxed steel roller frame should be mostly standard, but I can say the Minoura resistance unit fit perfectly on the TACX Galaxia frame, and of course would for Minoura rollers. I have some old cyclops rollers, let me know if you want to keep and I'll check, might fit on those as well!

@@kevinative Thank you. My Cyclops are so old they just don't turn over very smoothly now without making creaking noises and feeling unpleasant in the rotation. So maybe I should just get the TACX. I also found these crown rollers but they're $650. I was looking for something quiet. Are they Tacx quiet? As quiet as aluminum rollers say from Long Wheel? Thank you.

Also I have an SRM on my cranks so I feel like a power trainer or interactive trainer would be overkill. I have my workouts, just like to do them as written.

@@MsLuminescence Sorry just saw this, yes the tacx galaxia rollers are very quiet.

I ziptied the unit onto my Galaxia roller frame and it seems to work. It's not quite as nice as being able to easily just unattach without clipping zipties, but it's a fast way to make it work, and I can buy more zipties if I need to.

I did this, carefully saw off with a hand saw. Mark with a caliper of 7,5 mm and draw cut line with a thin felt-tip pen. Then manually saw off the excess metal: drive.google.com/file/d/1Fb2QeNLxIF_uQLWfyvvd1-xkepKg0IVR/view?usp=sharing

Hi, I managed to get my hands on the resistance unit... how did you manage to get the resistance unit to work with the rollers ? did you just set up as per the instrustions in the manual?
@yuriyanovski4 жыл бұрын
The trainer was assembled according to the instructions without changes. The unit requires clamp modification. To ensure that the mount does not fly off. Try installing it as in the video and you will know what to do. (I was also asked if this is the front wheel, but it's on the front wheel. :))
