I live in NL and there are many days when I need this. If it’s sunny and outside is 20+ inside can reach 40+ easily. I have to park on the street in the open.

I live in Antalya and sometimes we have +45 and I don't need this thing because I like to see blue sky and the sun. I use pre-conditioning (unexpectedly :D) to prevent overheating in the cabin.

This could be a sponsored ad. Because the glass roof is a big part of Tesla design. Some people choose the car because of it. If you need to cover/fix it, maybe choose a different brand that has convertible/slide-over roof.

If you guys look up some videos you can find that some people did test and the sunroof blocks 99 percent of the IR and UV rays. People are being placeboed because they aren’t ceramic tinting all four side windows as wells as their back and front windshield. Don’t tint the roof it’s just a waste of money

Exactly. The back windows do NOT have any heat rejection properties. They are simply stained. You need to ceramic tint them.

They look better made than most, but after two hot Aust summers in an M3 we’ve found the roof hardly transmits any heat. So IR blocking is really good, and apparently it’s the same UV transmission as a very overcast day. Still, you do feel some heat within a few cm of the glass, so a shade would help on those 40 degree days.
