Twin Flame Reunion Stages [10 TWIN FLAME STAGES / PHASES]

Twin flame stages [or twin flame phases] can be a confusing topic because it is often presented as a linear progression. Usually, twin flame reunion stages are explained in this order: 1) twin flames longing for one another before meeting, 2) twin flames "glimpsing" each other in some way, 3) twin flames meeting in the physical world, 4) the twin flame "love bubble", 5) twin flames triggering each other, 6) twin flames running and chasing + potentially separating, 7) twin flames surrendering to the connection and 8) twin flame reunion.
While I resonate with these stages, I also believe it is not necessarily the same progression for every twin flame couple. At times, twin flames can seem to flip back and forth between a few of the "stages" - even moment to moment. For example, twin flames often have several "love bubble" phases and then ego may become triggered and trip them into the "running/chasing" phase. This is just one example of many showing that every twin flame journey is entirely unique and based upon your soul intentions with one another that are created prior to incarnating here in this life. All this is so true! The day we met I called a cab,and he was my driver,I asked him to wait two minutes,and when I got back in the car a voice said talk to him(which I think was god) I didn't want to at first,but he spoke first and asked me do I do this trip everyday,and we fell into a conversation that lasted a half hour hone,we talked like we knew each other forever! That is so nice. I don't know if this girl I met a year ago is my twin flame or not but we had a spat and she wished me good luck for my future post that. Wishing me goodbye in short. We met accindetely and became "friends". A lot of supernatural things happened while in each other presence, and we both knew it is something very special about us. We were never intimate, but definitely felt like "more than friends". We confessed our love and "connection" to each other after 2 years of push-pull and it was bliss. The last trigger happened in september 2020, which triggered my soul shock and DNS. I have been with my twinflames since I was 17 yrs old. The things we were experiencing. We had no control of. It was just happening. Forgive me for saying so... But, it truly sounds more like you found your soul mate. Like what you describe to have is more of a natural flowing energy in your relationship. As where, I feel like with a "twin flame" connection it's much more challenging. Constant challenges. The energy is more like you're beating your head against a brick wall and it's the same brick wall he beats his against. Keep in mind that Twin flames don't typically end in grow old and die together scenerios. I'm 45 and I met my twin flame 5 yrs ago. It only lasted for a year. Thankfully. It was and still is a crazy experience, one that I still grow and learn from to this day. I do miss him so very much and I think about him often, but it's more like I know, as he does, that our energies were/are so alike... our masculine/feminine energies were so synced within each other, it was undeniable and was right out the gate. No doubt in my mind that he is my twin flame. I have also had the extraordinary blessing to have met my soul mate early in this life time as well. However it was a much different experience. Much less challenging, more like it was fate at the wheel. And it was a natural free flowing chemistry that. He was the very opposite energy, but oh so very complimentary to mine. And much like your story, we met when we were just kids 16 and 17. Married 4 yrs later and had 3 amazing kids. We were together for 17 yrs before God called him home in 2013. Cancer sucks. But the love we had sounds very much alike to the one you describe in your relationship. I miss my twin flame and I do think about him often. But I know he's still out there, breathing, hopefully still learning and growing as we do. And while I do check in on him from time to time, (without him knowing of course, bc that would surely draw him back in and I'm not trying to cycle through that kind of pain again) that is enough for me to know that. Unlike the loss of my soul mate, my husband, my one true love... Part of me died right along with him. I haven't been able to take a deep breath in 10yrs, and likely, never will again... at least until we're reunited. You are very lucky to have your soul mate walking through this life with you. It makes my heart smile to know that, that kind of love still exists beyond my own experience. While that kind of love truly never dies...it transcends all others, even the twin flame love, cherish every moment as if it were your last. I’m at the surrender stage right now. After being the chaser for a little over a year. And being in separation for almost 12 years. I didn’t know about twin flames until last December. I hadn’t started seeing the repeating numbers until the end of the love bubble phase. Once we went into separation they were bombarding me to the point where I finally started looking them up and then saw the term “twin flames.” I looked deeper into it and all the signs and patterns fit. I always had seen 11:11 for years though but that was the only one I ever noticed. We’re currently still in separation and these numbers still hit me daily and always vary but I see number 44 at least 50 times a day lol. Where is the divide or difference between this and dealing with a narcissist? I am an empath. He has NO empathy. Can't even "begin to know what that feels like". I met my twin flame a year ago, but wasn’t conscious of what it meant. I found myself researching different things trying to understand what had happened because I felt like I was going crazy. I started getting all these recommended videos for twin flames, which was not a concept I’ve heard of before, and everything about the journey just clicked. I went through a dark night of the soul and even though I have been heartbroken in the past, and even dealt with depression, this was so intense, but at the same time I felt strangely protected in spiritual way.. like it was all happening for a good reason, and I would pull through. I found it impossible to hold any resentment towards my twin even today as the 3-D makes it look like we are separate. As someone who’s been on this spiritual/twin flame journey a handful of years and been through it all, this might be the best, most accurate explanation I’ve heard of everything! Well done. It’s SO important for people to know things aren’t set in stone and can fluctuate at any given moment. That goes for “stages” as well as energies. We all have feminine and masculine energies within us and can be more dominant in one than the other at any given time and switch from one minute to the next. So we aren’t always just the “divine feminine” (or masculine) all the time and knowing that can help people figure out it’s important to look at their own situation/energies and see where something in THEIR OWN life needs to be changed or addressed, instead of assuming the other just needs to do more “work.” I love how you made sure those things were clear, because I feel like when people first start learning about twin flames, a good amount of them get caught up on certain labels or stages and it can keep them stuck for months or years before realizing they can change things.

I write straight from my heart, and my subjective experience of course. But even when doubt creeps into my mind about my connection with my tf, I still come out the other end a little bit more understanding. So, in moments when I'm alone with myself, my thoughts, and the subtle presence of my twin in spirit, I write. I've got word documents that span several pages, and quite a few notes on my phone with paragraph upon paragraph, describing my feelings, thoughts, and most importantly, my precious memories of her, which is sadly and grievously, all I've got left in this separation. I fully believe that, you have to get out of your twinflames ENERGY for them to come back. What I mean by out of their energy is, detach. They actually can feel you when you are obsessively thinking about them, or just in their energy in general, looking at their Facebook, whatever platform,Talking about them etc. of course it’s hard to not think about them, that’s when you turn to self and give yourself the light and love. Tell yourself I love you when you start to feel the obsessive thinking appear, there are mantras that you can say that can shift your energy towards you.

You seem insightful and I’m curious your recommendation. How do you go about starting no contact when you’ve done it for a week and she flipped out and I told her I wouldn’t ignore her anymore. It’s been 2 months since she left me and still wants to remain friends and seems to think I’m chasing. Yeahhhh what most people are calling "twin flame" is just the classic anxious-avoidant trap. You're either an empath that found yourself a narcissist, or an anxious-preoccupied that found yourself an avoidant partner. Trying to spiritualize it with terms like "twin flame" just causes you to prolong the cycle of abuse and keep yourself from finding a real partner that reciprocates your love.

I am the Chaser and my DM is the Runner and I feel I am doing the work on mySelf so that I can calm all my emotions and thoughts. Story time: I used to work with this doctor (he was married with children, I’m engaged). The energy between him & I was so strong. I knew one of us had to leave. I quit my job. He triggered me in the worst way. I started to have heart issues with increased anxiety & depression. He denied his feelings, because of his wife & kids. I started therapy sessions in an attempt to heal my child hood. I think about him every day. It’s only been 2 weeks 😂. I miss him sooo much & every day I give myself a lot of love. I resonate with all of these stages in some way. We met when we were children and I had always equated how I felt about her to an idealised first love. We met when we were 11. We were apart for 22 years and got together at 33. It wasn’t until we were both not willing to settle with other partners and be ok with that that we found our way back to each other. OK, so here's my story. I met this girl 5 years ago. Ever since i met her, i felt a special connection with her, to the point i was smitten by her. This was back on 2018. We had communication between me and her via social media only. Mind you, we live about 2 hours away from each other. But i always felt this connection with her, to the point it started hurting not being close to her. 2020 and the pandemic comes and ruins everything, i even lost my father during that time, but then the pandemic ended. Comes 2021, and we had a brief video call me and her on February... then she disappeared. I felt like i lost her forever, that i was dying because the pain of losing her was too much. During this entire time, i could not get her off my head, no matter what i did. I even saw her face on the women, or at least tried to see her. An entire year passed, 2 years. Comes the beginning of 2023, and she replied back to me. She was still alive and well, same for her kids. I was shocked to hear from her again. She even gave me her personal phone number to stay in touch, and we been in touch until now. We're even planning a real life meeting at the end of June, and I'm really excited about it. Me and her, we both share many things on common, except for one thing: I'm very caring, loving and affectionate, but her is very aloof, almost standoffish, so I'm like the Sun and she is like the Moon, but i feel as though life has been keeping us apart this entire time, I've always thought she's could be my Twin Flame. She even said recently that i popped in one of her dreams, and she didn't know why. Could this be real, or am i just fooling myself here? I've heard of twin flames before and have actually watched some videos about it but for some reason, I found myself watching your videos almost on a continuous basis for the past few days. I know that age gap is one of the signs but it makes me wonder why and for what purpose, especially in our society that basically puts you on a virtual firing range when the female is so much older than the male but is acceptable the other way around. I am in my mid 60's and recently met a younger man who became quite friendly with me. I am aware he is in a committed relationship so, aside from the hugs that he initiated (I felt like I am home every time) , I did not cross the line, especially I am old enough to be his mom. When I asked if he was flirting with me, he says he sees me as a mother figure, a mom away from home, then ghosted me. Needless to say, it hurt immensely. Maybe because, I felt embarrassed being told basically I am so old, or because he rejected me because I am so old? So again, why the age gap when one is so close to grave and the other is just starting his life? I miss him immensely but I do not want to interfere with the life he wants to create for himself. I have been on my own for a long time and have accepted that I will be for the rest of my life. Then, he happens, and though I am okay on my own, I find myself longing for him. I left my details in a letter . I dont have his. I couldn't forget him. I did call me at my new place. But it was too noisy. in 2009 I felt his energy. ( at that time I didnt realise we are one. In my twinflame journey, I've surpassed the meeting phase immediately into the seperation stage. I met him only once in this summer camp. I tried to invite him to my own town a year after that, but he never came, because the camp was held at the same time his college started and right after that he met his girlfriend, as this was a long distance relationship.
