Very true and I honestly wish it was like this throughout Hololive since it’s them being their genuine selves. And one thing that exemplifies this is how Bae had to address her saying “Bye bitch” to IRyS which I guess some fans found rude whereas Magni can casually drop a “Godspeed dumbfuck” to Bettel and nobody bats an eye (which was priceless may I add). It’s nothing against Hololive talents since they are all very close regardless of their on screen interactions. I feel this is more so a product of the expectations the fans have of them as entertainers which is unfortunate.

Exactly. My experience with growing to like Stars started off as a drooling desire to infiltrate my way into the favor of Live, especially Calli, but witnessing these way more decent men stick together and fight on through thick and thin rather than use their fellow men as meat shields and take everyone's spirits down with them made me want to slowly but surely come clean with my twisted desires while bravely supporting this humble brotherhood. I even found myself with a remade desire to support the girls, even those who don't seem like they'd ever be comfortable working with their male colleagues. So yeah, I'm glad I didn't give up on my desire for a healthy brotherhood as an artist and an entertainer. TwT

Fr, I've seen a group of my friend's circle and their brotherhood was so good that they still (in some ways) keep in touch together and some of them went out and planned a trip, even after they were separated. I never had such an experience but I do envy them a lot and seeing Tempus having the same vibes makes me very happy and wholesome.

My brother and I have a 2 year age gap, we were both at each other's throats for the longest time and truly hated each other for no good reason. Now he is the person I trust the most and we are willing to do anything for the other. Brotherhood is a weird thing that changes as you age and as adults it's quite a different and rare indeed.

I few months ago we hear Magni that he found his place. Not much people get it, but finding that, is like finding a second family, something that you really don't think much when you are a kid, and you start to understand what that means when growing up, you start to look back an say "So this how it works, this is how it can be done". Not many have it, even with their close relatives, so when you find it, you will notice the difference and is one of the best things you could ever encounter, so treasure it as long as you can, take it to your grave if you could.

As the younger sibling, I was always forced to go wherever my bro went if my parents weren't home when we were kids. Im sure he didn't want that responsibility, and it was evident that sometimes he resented being around me. (Which is fair, I was an annoying little crybaby) But now I'll do anything for my bro. I'll go to jail for him if I needed to. Hell, I'll give up my organs if he needed it. I got so much trust in him because tbh he kinda saved my life. When I was young I was very extroverted and tried to make many friends but it didn't work out well until I met this one kid who was off on his own and that choice I made to talk to him changed my life. I love all of Tempus for simply being bros, and while I did watch a bit of HoloEN before (and still do), these boys are really what made me fall down the rabbit hole proper. There's just something weirdly wholesome about their interactions even if they get a little unhinged at times, and they all very much remind me of me and my friends when we're gaming. It kind of filled a void that I wasn't even aware of (nothing dramatic - I just unfollowed another fleshtuber group since there was too much toxicity for my taste) and I'm happy that I've sort of found a "home" here again. I think some of the boys may feel the same and that just shines through in all of their content. And while I do have my oshis (I sadly have only so much time to watch streams), I honestly can say that there's no one in Tempus that I do not like or that I don't want to see collabs with, which I think also speaks for how strong and well bonded this group is. I can find something to appreciate in every single one of them. Eh, enough of that sappy stuff lol. Just happy to hear they're also happy where they are right now I guess. :D

One of my favorite things about Dez is how he makes himself look ridiculous a bit to prevent sappiness while having serious talks like this. It's like a vaccine for drama obsession, something I know I've had with my excessive belief in fiction. What Dez does here shows rather than tells that he's expressing himself, that he's being himself, a one of a kind human being, one who also believes just like any other good human should that we humans need each other more than as pieces of meat to beat and eat. It's certainly freaking wonderful, then, to see that growing humanity in action while Dez honors his brotherhood with Tempus so far. Again, I am grateful oh so much. TwT

I’ve experienced something like this with people I know over discord. I never had brothers growing up, only sisters. My sisters are my best friends in the whole world and every day I remember how grateful I am to have them in my life. But I was never part of a brotherhood. That only changed once I got out of highschool and joined a discord server with some of my highschool friends. These are the type of boys who swear and shout each other out all the time. Who communicate with each other largely in insults and jabs. Who make the most obscene jokes and mostly like to talk about military sim stuff. At first, I wasn’t really sure what the make of them. Until I saw a page called “a few words for the fallen.” It was a page dedicated entirely to a memorial for a friend of theirs. I had only met him twice, but he had apparently been a long time member who unfortunately took his own life. The page was dedicated to eulogies written by his friends, talking about how they missed and loved him and wish they could have helped him. That was when I found my brotherhood. These are the type of boys who, when they see you are struggling or sad, will come at you with all the support and love they can muster. Who will always have your back during the hard times. Who will never tell you your feelings are invalid and only want to talk to you and help you feel better. I feel it every time we play games and chat. How much they care about one another and how glad they are to be together. Magni is a hundred percent correct. Relationships like this outside of schools are rarer, but so much more rewarding. To find your own group and to make the choice yourself to be around them, and they you, is so meaningful. He’s also not wrong about the other part. I love my friends on the server with all my heart and I would die for anyone of them.

I was a little similar. Especially in an Asian household, as the older sibling, you are supposed to take care and be responsible for your younger sibling. I resented that every time they did something wrong, I was blamed 'why didn't you stop them', if they wanted something of mine, I was supposed to give it up to them or be called selfish since they were younger, and if I went out with friends I had to take them as well. I didn't hate them but I didn't want to revolve my life around them and so to this day in my extended family, I'm known a the selfish older sibling and my younger sibling was pitied for having an older sibling like me. After we grew up and lived apart, both of us had time to process our parents' views and form our own so ironically now we are closer now that it's not an obligation.

I think most people have regrets on how their relationship with their sibling swas when they were younger like if the age gap is small the kids are at each others throats but if its big it can be complicated like the older one just doesnt want to bother with the younger one or feels more like a parental figure or distant not really any siblinghood.. wehn you get older you look back and wish things has gone differently even if as Dez said its fine now and he is right this feeling of brotherhood etc is way easier to find when still in school cause once you are an adult with responsabilities and 'in the real world' it just doesnt happen like that anymore or at least in my experience. Tempus really has that brotherhood to them that feels like its hanging out with the boys and thats why i enjoy them so much, they feel real.

You know now a days, unless men have a pre-established relationship like siblings, it’s hard to find and form friendships physically or online sometimes as dudes. Especially when men have so many barriers between themselves, physical or emotional, we can act cool around each other but to be real with another is hard, we don’t know how others will see us as weak or lose respect or laugh at us when we truly open up with each other. It’s sad but I lost contact with my first true friend, many others would see him as a toxic personality by todays standards, but I will always see him as my first true and best friend.

Tips for younger viewers from this old me. Cherish your youth. You don't need to be someone who is well loved by others. Just find one or two close friends is enough. Finding this kind of friendship or brotherhood is easier in your school days. Especially in your highschool days. One of my friend who is far older than me once told me that too. You might grow up, go to the university, get a job, and find more friends along the way. But whenever anything happen, whether it's a bad thing or good thing, you will most likely hang out with your bros or sis from your school days. They will have a special place in your heart. I can guarantee it as I experience it too now. I picked a lone wolf route to tackle this unfair life for some reasons. I left all of my friends behind. I lost contact with most of them, except for my small close group from my school days. They are the only one who keep trying to contact me. They only do that occasionally to respect my desicion, but I know they are still there. Tho this bad old me still pick the way of solitude in the end lol. And it seems many people that I know also say the same thing. Of course finding a good friendship like this is also possible for adults. But in your childhood or teen age you can spend more times with them. One thing that I can say that you will lose when you become an adult is time.

Tbh, age wise, knowing their previous persona. Dez definitely has quite years ahead of Altare from how they act. Not to mention their family relations, no matter how mature Altare is, he's still the youngest in his family. There's a certain younger/est sibling vibe/attitude/behavior he exudes no matter what, imo. He may be able to act as a big bro to others and so composed as a person, but to someone older, he reverts back to his age. And that someone older is mostly Dez while Axel is the same age buddy to mess and get chuuni with.
