His enemies should respect him first. The fact that they cry in the end, doesn't prove nothing. They don't cry for him, they cry, because they want to be remembered as people with consciousness and remorse. They didn't have neither remorse nor humanity at all. Those who killed Saint Pargali Ibrahim Pasha and Prince Mustafa (his son too), Prince Cihangir and Prince Beyazid (with his sons too), their descendants, killed my great-great grand-fathers. So no, they had no remorse and humanity at all. Only arrogance and greed for power, then they always tried to accuse innocent people like my great-great grandfathers and great-grandfathers (because they also killed my great-grandfathers too), baptizing them traitors, but they were just ordinary people with families and children, with wifes and brothers. They didn't do nothing wrong, just like Pargali and those innocent Princes and people, who had been destroyed by Hurrem, Rustem and Syleiman.

On one hand I feel bad for Mustafa and on the other I don't. He made a lot of mistakes and to be honest he promised his brother that he wouldn't kill them when he took the throne but that's not true. Mahidevran would've ordered the deaths of Hurrem and all of her children soon as she became Valide. I feel bad that Bayezid is hurting but he's not the son I would support, he reckless, disrespects his mother and lets others do the same. Also, Mahidevran calling Bayezid Hurrem son and saying he's going to carry the burden is so funny to me. I guess Mustafa's death was the Lord trying to humble evil Mahadevan for all of her evil doings, especially killing Mehed. I mean does this lady every take accountability for the things she has done!

If we really have to say, the saddest thing is that emperor doesnt have only one woman and children with different mother were born in palace. If one were to show this event, they wouldnt be able to be free from biases, like many everyone would blame Hurrem for it considering her the villain, or many show mustafa as being rebellious and hurrem as innocent. But this show balances everything and shows the event from all perspectives without any personal or emotional biases. It shows it from the Perspective of Hurrem as her only goal was to save the lives of her sons because of the dirty law of mehmet ii, she didnt kill him because she hated her but because her sons would be executed. It shows from the perspective of the Sultan, as he was not aware of the truth or reality of the event, he only acted upon the knowledge he received , and also because of his fears as how his father dethroned and killed his grandfather , similar events might have to him. It shows from the perspective of Mustafa as well as to him being innocent and loyal to his father, had he wanted to he could have dethroned him but didnt do so. I dont think any one person is to blame for the event, everyone had their own reasons but its certain that Mustafa was innocent and didnt deserve such an end.

Mustafa was not the crown prince anymore when he lost Manisa. Selim was appointed as the new governor of Manisa, thus he is the crown prince. But people lost their trust on Selim when he indulged on drunkardness and womanizing. Selim has been fighting his own share of battles, because he was the loneliest. So resorted to vices. I've cried so much for this episode. If this is a true story , how unfair is the world even being a Prince. I adore Prince Mustafa with all my heart. May Allah gave him the most better place in Heaven.

the fact that the Janissary were that loyal to mustafa and not to the sultan was another reason that he needed to kill him especially because mustafa took advantage of this more than once
@MA-kh2lr2 жыл бұрын
Mustapha never took advantage of the janissaries. If he did he would have revolted time ago.
@joansutton2 жыл бұрын
That's right. Mustafa was basically loyal to his father. However, adulation did sway him. His closest followers were planning to overthrow Suleiman and place Mustafa on the throne. The support of the Janissaries was particularly alarming and made the danger very obvious. In my opinion, Suleiman finally had no choice.

@@joansutton ...Wrong . It was Hurrem's fabricated evidence against Mustafa which finally sealed his fate. Everything else could have been much easier handled by Mustafa and Suleiman .
@joansutton Жыл бұрын
@@subash241 nothing was fabricated. It was all true. Mustafa made many mistakes, starting when he was a child and ran off to the army. That was his first big disobedience. But not his last, by a long shot.

Suleiman may be a great ruler , but history will not forgive him for his betrayal to his own son .

The love of the janissary corps stands out here. When others die, they mourn mechanically but here they mourned with their soul

Unfortunately, Suleyman had to kill them. This may seem very murderous to you, but if a prince or Pasha rebelled, tens of thousands of people would die in the war. To prevent this, the Sultans did not forgive disobedience, even if they were their own sons.

Mustafa didn't disobey his father it's hurrem idea .she want her sons to be sultan.
@cmAwesome2072 жыл бұрын
You are so right I have thought of this over and over but I just can't figure out a way that he could have let mustafa live and all of those supporters not kill Hurrem and her sons... It would have been inevitable

@@ladydiana885 In this century, we still have trust issues even with advanced technology and we have government laws to follow. Just think about how laws were then. Still, Mustafa overlooked them. He is not innocent but ignorant. He doesn't know how to be close with the sultan.
@gjithqka.kalonn2 жыл бұрын
@@ladydiana885 He disobeyed over and over again, from setting out on the sea without the Sultan's permission, to creating weapons/ships, to disobeying Suleiman's orders. He is a prince. His father is a Sultan before being a father. The moment Mustafa started to accumulate followers and act without orders he already signed his death. That was how it was back then. The moment he was chosen by the janissaries who were willing to kill the Sultan for him he became a danger to Suleiman and the stability of the Empire, hence his death. If only he didn't rush so fast to be beloved and supported. If he lived in the shadows until Suleiman was much older and weak, he'd not have died like this.
