@@MrA1R1S Did you even watch the show or are you delusional? Hurrem did not make Suleiman kill Ibrahim or Mustafa. Ibrahim's own words got him killed but Suleiman. Hurrem literally only showed him what Ibrahim said about him which is why he died it would've eventually happened anyways as Ibrahim got more arrogant with his words and actions. Mustafa would've also been killed REGARDLESS both were INEVITABLE Mustafa was slandered yes that caused his death but it still would've happened and it wasn't only Hurrem's fault it was the forming rebellion that also heavily and I do mean HEAVILY contributed to his death because you can't control them they were going to kill Suleiman and put Mustafa on the throne. He would've inevitably been killed by Suleiman otherwise Suleiman would've died. Cihangir's health conditions and grief is what killed him along with the opium and Selim should've intervened more given that Suleiman was not in his right mind after killing his son Mustafa. They were both grieving badly. But you can't blame that on his intense pain from his health condition. The opium in the end is what killed him in my opinion because the more of it he took the more he saw the lady in white that would bring him roses.

tears. i was so sad when vahide percin replaced mereyem as hurrem. i genuinely thought mereyem was irreplacable. but signora grezia was right, vahide's hurrem has a strange beauty - the smile in the last scene absolutely proves it. vahide played an older hurrem perfectly, with so much delicacy and a quiet dignity that i'm only appreciating in this episode. she looked absolutely beautiful. despite aging from the harem's storms, and no longer the same vivacious hurrem who arrived at the palace - there is still something so childlike about older hurrem, so radiant. I think Lala Pasha decided correctly to choose Selim. Coz he had been a loyal servant to Bayezid but not one time he paid any respect to him. Instead Bayezid relies more on Atmaca and the Army general which I guess is a trait he took from Mustafa. Other than that, he was constantly facing the wrath of Beyazid's childish anger which he blurted out without even thinking for a sec. This was so unfit for someone who wanted to rule the empire. Now about Selim, he of course is not very intelligent and less in bravery. But he is a silent one. He doesn't blurt out without thinking for a sec. He heeds for advice which basically Lala would love to give as a guide sent by Hurrem and Suleiman. Plus since Hurrem was dying, it was too easy for enemies to rip Selim off the throne and kill him asap after her death since she was the only one saving him from Beyazid and Suleiman. I also see Lala's step as a tribute, a respect paid to Hurrem since she was the one who chose him for the successor. As a final tribute, Lala might have done it.
